Lonely Space changes
I'm still working hard developing Lonely Space, and over the past few weeks, a big part of that work went into updating the demo. It's now live, and Lonely Space is also taking part in Steam Cyberpunk Fest, so there's no better moment to jump in. Play it, break it, and leave me your feedback; it genuinely shapes where the game goes next.
Lonely Space Demo For those just finding the game: Lonely Space is an old-school sci-fi immersive sim inspired by System Shock 2, Dead Space, and Prey. You wake up from hibernation aboard the Cassiopeia Space Station to find your crew gone, the halls overrun by mutated personnel, and the security system out for your blood. How you survive is up to you: brute force, stealth, hacking, psionics, or any mix of them. And when the ammo runs dry, a severed head throws surprisingly well.
Here's the full list of what's changed in the demo:
New Mechanics and Systems
New hacking system with a new mini-game for hacking vending machines, doors, and boxes.
New Injector/Extractor tool. Extract blood and other fluids from enemies and corpses, or inject a neurotoxin to neutralize opponents without killing them.
UV lamps now reveal fingerprints on password entry panels.
Energy bridges. When deactivated, all enemies and items on them fall.
Vending machines drop a random item when hacked.
Intelligent loot system. Some crates give you the items you need at that moment.
Gas cylinders now detonate on impact if the impact force exceeds the threshold.
EMP grenades and the Tesla Gun now turn off energy bridges and walls.
A spark or another fire source can now ignite acid clouds.
Levels and Environment

The intro level has been significantly expanded, with a new tutorial section.
5 new posters made by an artist.
All demo audio logs have been revoiced by professional voice actors.
