Devlog

Below is a list of changes made in Q2 and Q3 2025. And of course, we've updated the Demo to include many of the changes listed below.

New mechanics and systems

  • Research + craft system. Almost all organic enemies will drop tissue samples. By researching the samples, you will receive unique bonuses or be able to use these items in battle. You will also be able to use some of them for crafting.

  • Water electrification. There will be water areas on the levels. Shooting at them with any electric weapon will shock all enemies standing in the water.

  • Falling objects. Some objects such as hanging corpses and hanging lanterns can now be dropped using telekinesis, weapons or throwables.

  • Repair mechanics. Some panels or devices may now be broken and require a certain repair skill.

  • Power on devices using Tesla Gun. Doors or devices without electricity can now be temporarily turned on using the Tesla Gun.

  • Mines. Now the player can plant and disarm various mines: fragmental, emp, organic (acid).

New objects and weapons

  • New weapon: Flame Thrower.

  • EMP mne.

  • Fragmental mine.

  • Sticky organic mine.

  • Basketball arcade game machine.

  • Dubstep bird arcade game machine.

  • Rat poo item. Definitely the most important item in the game!

  • Unique Pistol upgrade: Burst.

  • Unique Revolver upgrade: Penetrator.

  • Unique Shotgun upgrades: Auto and Focus.

  • Unique Rifle upgrade: Fast Reciever.

  • Unique Blaster upgrade: Overload.

  • Unique Tesla Gun upgrade: Splitter.

  • Unique Flame Thrower upgrade: Pump.

  • Basketball ball throwable.

  • Lab rat cage throwable.

  • Acid flask throwable. When broken, it creates a cloud of acid.

  • Reagents for crafting item.

  • Empty Neuro-blueprint item.

  • Toilet paper item.

  • New audio log item model.

Environment

  • Crew Deck level design. We spent a lot of time working on the crew deck. It's not finished yet, but the basic structure is ready.

  • New items, zones and mechanics where added to Science Deck as well.

Enemies

  • New eggs enemies: empty, acid and with a crowler inside.

  • New big black security droid.

  • New dog-like mutant.

  • New humanoid mutant with invisibility skill.

  • Occasional jump attack for mutated crew members.

  • When entering an acid cloud, organic enemies begin to cough and do not attack.

Player

  • New active skill: Corpse Explosion.

  • Player burning state + vfx. While burning, deals damage to everyone around.

  • Player shocked state. While shocked, cannot move and shoot.

  • Acid attacks on the player now reduce the durability of the current weapon.

  • New Telekinesis passive skill: Snatcher. Allows you to snatch weapons from the enemies hands.

  • New Psi Missile passive skill: Cryo Strike. On hit, slows the target.

  • New passive skill: Pain Threshold. Increases resistance to all types of damage.

  • New passive skill: Mind Volume. Increases the amount of psionic energy the player has.

  • New passive skill: Rat Sweat. Rats won't attack you anymore.

  • New passive skillSapper. You become less visible to mines. Doubles the time available for demining.
  • New passive skill: Bloodlust. Increases all damage dealt proportionally to the percentage of missing health.

  • New passive skill: Golden liver. Reduces the negative effects of alcohol. Increases melee damage and all resistances while under the influence
