The following is a list of patch notes and bug fixes for Kristala Version 1.0.6
Patch Update – Bug Fixes and Improvements Now Live
This update introduces combat responsiveness improvements, summon system adjustments, enemy behavior fixes, encounter tuning, and audio refinements across multiple areas of the game. Thank you to everyone continuing to share feedback with us as we keep improving Kristala.
Gameplay & Combat Improvements
Increased player rotation windows during attack animations to improve responsiveness and control
Adjusted hitbox behavior for Shard Guardian Lunge attacks to improve combat consistency
Adjusted dodge, roll & perfect dodge timings to be more lenient
Reduced the target lock angle threshold to improve lock-on responsiveness during combat
Jumping, sprinting, and dodging now consume Balance only during combat encounters
Summons now have a limited lifetime
Summons can no longer be targeted by the player
Summons no longer deal damage to the player
Reduced the distance at which enemies can call nearby reinforcements
Summon ground explosion effects no longer damage the player
Boss Encounter Improvements
Ayrag now destroys certain arena elements on contact as intended
Enemy Behavior Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Kota Poisoner in Myr spawned only after interacting with a checkpoint
Fixed an issue where the corruption-linked spider in Tandar did not spawn correctly
Performance & Stability Fixes
Optimized Volumetric Fog rendering for improved performance and visual stability
UI & Tutorial Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Basic Movement tutorial pop-up appeared during the opening cutscene
World & Environment Fixes
Fixed missing geometry in Myrtuna
Achievement Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Braced for a Beating achievement only triggered when wearing the full equipment set
Fixed an issue where the Erudite achievement only triggered when four spells were equipped in a single container
Audio Improvements & Fixes
Fixed an issue where exploration music in Nisar played at an excessively high volume Known Issues and Workarounds
Fixed an issue where sounds stopped playing after cutscenes or returning from the main menu intro
