The following is a list of patch notes and bug fixes for Kristala Version 1.0.15
Patch Update – Combat Fixes, Accessibility Improvements, and Gameplay Polish Now Live (v1.0.15)
This update introduces gameplay, UI, accessibility, and performance improvements focused on combat consistency, camera behavior, item effects, AI behavior, HUD functionality, and overall stability.
This patch also includes continued optimization work in areas such as Myr and Tandar, alongside improvements to UI responsiveness and level-streaming behavior. Additional performance and loading improvements remain actively in progress as we continue refining the overall gameplay experience.
Gameplay & Combat Improvements
Corrected multiple AI behavior issues
Fixed an issue where certain player inputs could become delayed after summoning the steed
Fixed an issue with the Deflect Projectiles skill where deflecting projectiles could incorrectly force the camera to turn toward them
Fixed an issue where camera rotation could become locked after jumping from a wall run
Kota Ranger Rifles now correctly destroy destructible objects instead of shooting through them
Enemies now regenerate health while out of combat
Fixed an issue in the Shop menu where players could craft multiple items while only consuming materials for a single item
Fixed an issue where item effects that required defeating enemies to activate would not function correctly
Fixed an issue where Spellvamp effects granted from items would not function correctly
Fixed an issue where Cone of Cold could incorrectly spawn on the second floor when cast inside certain buildings
Boss Encounter Improvements
Made various minor fixes and adjustments to the Nisargan Shard Guardian encounter
Fixed an issue where Hiratrola could become stuck while blocking attacks
Accessibility & Cutscene Improvements
Added subtitles to the final cutscene
UI, Menu & Input Improvements
The player’s mouse cursor now properly controls the Virtual Cursor, preventing desynchronization between the two
Fixed an issue where the Congratulations message displayed incorrect input button icons while using a gamepad
Fixed an issue where players could open the Blacksmith menu multiple times, causing a stuck interface that required restarting the game
Fixed an issue where quest task descriptions could sometimes fail to appear in the HUD
Fixed an issue in the Equipment Menu where Weapon Ability information would incorrectly display the currently equipped weapon’s abilities instead of the hovered weapon’s abilities
Fixed an issue where the Preparation Menu could display the incorrect body type, fur pattern, or fur color
Fixed an issue in the Load Menu where players could be unable to select save files with the mouse when multiple saves existed
Performance Improvements
Optimized in-game menus to reduce stuttering during navigation
Improved foliage rendering performance in Tandar
Fixed an issue where music and ambient audio could cut out sporadically
Audio & Immersion Improvements
Dogs now have unique audio reactions when being petted
Items & Equipment Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Myrish Knight set did not function correctly
Fixed an issue where healing effects from the full Fortunato set did not function correctly
Adjusted the fit of several armor sets for improved visual consistency
Fixed an issue where certain equipment effects could remain active after the item was unequipped
Updated several equipment icons
Fixed an issue with Dreamseer Valyris’ fur appearance
World & Environment Fixes
Improved blocking volumes and fire hazards in the Fire Village (Nisar) to better define playable area boundaries
Fixed several minor visual issues in Nisar and Tandar
