Kingdom of Ashes - Fallen Era changes
The Scorching Region
The ash never settled here — it caught fire. Beyond the kingdom's borders lies a sun-chained wasteland where the ground itself burns. Cross it if you dare.
A Whole New Region
A full expansion to your run: four distinct map variants, each with its own pressure and pace.
Dune Sea — a forgiving entry. Wide spine, dense detours, mystery-heavy and low-stakes.
Molten Causeway — a forced fork into a hot lane (molten battles and elites) or a lean cool lane. Pick your pain.
Glass Flats — elite-dense and brittle. Reward detours crack on a second visit. One-shot decisions.
The Citadel — a deterministic corridor of escalating elites under the chained sun. No detours. No mercy.

Four New Mechanics
🔥 Scorch — stacking burn on your enemies. Let it sear over time, or Detonate the whole stack for a burst.
🌋 Heat — a risk/reward resource that builds as you fight. Spend it for huge payoffs… but let it pass 10 at turn's end and you Overheat.
🥵 Sunstroke — the price of overheating. Lose Mana and bleed HP until you cool down.
🔷 Glass — enemies sheathed in glass turn brittle. Shatter the coat for bonus damage.
New Content
36 new cards — Scorch detonators, Heat-burners, Glass-shatterers and Sunsworn payoff plays.
6 new relics — including Sunstone (Scorch ticks twice), Obsidian Core (punish every Glass), and Phoenix Cycle (cheat death, gain Heat).
10 new enemies — Dune Stalkers that punish high Heat, Magma Golems that melt then crack, Cinder Wretches that reflect your Scorch, and more.
New boss: Vetra, the Glass Empress — she coats herself in glass and reflects your biggest hits. Below half health, her Mirror Storm lashes back. Strike too hard and you strike yourself.
How to Play
Own the DLC? Just flip the Scorching Region toggle on the title screen. Your existing heroes, mastery and meta-progression carry straight in — the new region, cards, relics and foes weave into your runs.
The sun is chained. The ground is glass. Walk in.
