π NEW: Deck-Building Start
Kingdom of Ashes is now a true deck-building RPG. No more fixed starting deck β you forge your own from turn zero.
Every run opens on a brand-new Deck-Building draft instead of the old starting shop.
Pick 1 of 3 cards, ten times to build your opening deck β 10 picks, endless possibilities.
Each hero keeps a guaranteed core (defense + their signature element cards), so you're never bricked.
Picks lean toward your hero's element β and you can reroll to chase the exact deck you want.
No two runs start the same. Draft greedy, draft safe, or draft pure chaos β the kingdom is yours to build.
π Audio & Sound Effects
Combat now has bite β card plays, hits, blocks, and deaths all have sound.
Atmospheric cues for shops, rests, shrines, and boss encounters.
Every UI click and reward reveal has crisp feedback.
π 20+ New Cards
Over 20 brand-new cards added β fresh synergies and combos to chase across every run. A taste:
Conflagrate β deal 8 Damage and apply 4 Burn.
Crimson Rush β pay 3 HP to deal 13 Damage and 3 Bleed.
Rune Surge β 6 Damage, draw +1, and gain 1 Wild Resonance.
Bramble Wall β gain 6 Shield and 4 Thorns.
Brand of Wrath β 4 Damage and stamp 4 Judgment.
Push deeper to unlock the rarest cards yet! The new Legendary and Legendary+ cards are run-defining bombs β chase them down, build around them, and break the game wide open. β‘

Polished effects, cleaner readability, and a sharper overall look.
