Visual

  • The event reports readability issue is addressed.

  • When a unit or town selected through Numpad keys (Numpad * or Numpad +), the camera now moves towards the selection.

  • Unit banners on top of the screen remain down while the unit is selected.

  • Russian border color is changed to light green for improved visibility.

Gameplay

  • Arrow keys work the same way WASD do.

  • Every faction now starts at peace, except 0, 1 or 2 of their neighbors, depending on difficulty.

  • Any two faction that share an enemy, has now decreased grudge against each other.

  • Now Merchant has "Slave master" upgrade, allowing 'purchase' of slaves from owned towns.

  • Two new stats are added to the Event Logs tab: "total goods produced" and "total resources harvested".

  • Malthusian Trap is now ON by default for new games. Players can still choose to turn it off. (Turning it off will allow players to control pop growth directly)

  • In Malthusian Trap OFF mode, Pop growth will be indicated in the Town label when it is 100.

  • Horses are added to the north of Black Sea.

  • Disband option now requires confirmation before proceeding.

Fixes

  • Agrarian engineer are now able to build plantations.

  • Herbalist can now discover tobacco in the new world.

  • Poppy seeds can now be collected.
