It's February! ❄️
Amazing month full of events and magical moments of both love and hope for the future!
It's also a perfect time for a new update, wouldn't you say? This time the main theme of our update is "Festive Time" - in particular we're celebrating the upcoming Chinese New Year 🏮 and Valentine's Day 💖 both of which are only few days away! For us it means an amazing opportunity to give out to our amazing community and share the spirit of celebration!
We've got some brand-new festive decorations ready for you and as the patch goes live you'll be able to claim them - both Chinese New Year and Valentine's Day items - via Post System in the game. Make sure to unlock and repair it so you can claim all the items!
We're also tackling technical side of things - improving the way our elevators, reducing memory leaks and making more important back-end changes!
As always we're happy to receive any feedback you might have for us - be it a new suggestion, bug report or just general question about anything Hotel Galactic-related. We're making sure all comments are seen, replied to and discussed so please comment away here on Steam or check up with us on Discord!

Fixed missing Dismiss interaction after hiring a worker.
Fixed error when cancelling demolish after game reload.
Fixed placement grid rendering on incorrect surfaces.
Fixed doors to locked rooms opening when dragging workers through them.
Fixed item source registration after packing and unpacking.
Fixed elevator repair marker jumping while elevator car is moving.
Fixed Grass Keeper state resolution, animations, and pathfinding issues.
Fixed plant wilting and dead animations after loading saves.
Fixed bedding tooltip refresh after loading a save.
Fixed stackable initialization and stackables falling after reload.
Fixed recycling tasks not cancelling when crushers are unavailable.
Fixed invisible objective rewards after reload.
Fixed room required item markers not updating correctly.
Fixed placement preview appearing at world origin during spawn.
Fixed unreachable rooms detection.
Fixed food rations blocking sentient slots.
Fixed workers spawning with zeroed skills and incorrect rotations on worker ship.
Fixed guests not leaving the reception queue when no rooms are available.
Fixed guests being assignable to rooms immediately after disembarking.

Fixed errors when reloading during wallpaper application.
Fixed duplicated GUID issues in processing properties.
Fixed character portraits not using default idle animations.
Fixed profile rename issue on Steam Deck.
Fixed minor UI and camera issues, including edge scrolling and camera tilt during transitions.
KNOWN ISSUES
In some cases, playing the correct melody on the stones may not properly count toward the progress of the “Forgotten Tune” quest.
LOD may not function correctly on High graphics settings.
There may be issues with actions performed by the VIP guest Greta.
In rare cases, guests in the dining room may not be properly positioned on chairs when sitting at the table.
Adding items to favourites in the UI may sometimes not work correctly.
It is possible to open the UI during the “Building Bridges” quest cutscene when using x3 game speed.
A placeholder may appear when displaying certain guest reactions.
There are isolated cases of missing translations and icons.
The “Call the Ship” action is missing a description.
