Dear Travelers!
Today we are coming to you with another patch and a big sale celebrating the Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day. We will go through everything step by step to answer as many questions as possible. As always, we will be in the comments if any additional topics come up.
Let’s start, somewhat playfully, from the end. :)
We have decided to launch a 50% discount as part of the ongoing Lunar New Year and Valentine’s Day events. This is a limited-time offer available only during this event and it will not be repeated anytime soon. We chose this moment because of the reception Hotel Galactic received after the December release of our major Winter Rework.
The reviews speak for themselves. Things are looking good and they will get even better. Those positive changes gave us a strong boost of motivation, but we know that many of you are still unsure whether now is the right time to jump in. Steam post image
We want to address those doubts and offer you a unique opportunity during Early Access to purchase the game at half price. This way, you can see for yourselves how big a step forward Hotel Galactic has taken since the Early Access launch.

COMING NOW
Starting with today’s patch, we introduced backend improvements such as a Unity update, an elevator rework, and a reduction of memory leaks. On top of that, we are celebrating two special occasions with new decorations for your beautiful hotels.
You can also expect new elements for the hotel SPA and new species-dedicated items. Based on your feedback, we have also introduced a UI improvement for wallpapers and floor designs. Just take a look at our event items! This window is ABSOLUTELY STUNNING! <3

We are preparing some community updates that will include some of the most requested features from our players. We will be introducing a dye system that allows you to recolor furniture, as well as multiple quality-of-life improvements collected from your feedback on Discord and Steam.
As always, we will also continue improving technical aspects of the game. We are adding a virtual cursor, which is important for Steam Deck players and will also allow us to begin porting work in the near future.
Soon, you can expect a major update introducing Act 2 of the story. This update will unveil a brand-new mechanic of Mining and the Hotel Underground, connected to a special new VIP guest, the Scary Monster.
A new race, new rooms, a fast travel option, and further improvements to the guest management system will follow, helping prepare the game for the final major updates!
COMING LATER
The second half of the year will begin our final approach toward the full release of Hotel Galactic. We plan to deliver another large patch featuring the conclusion of Act 2, a new race called the Whiffers, and another striking NPC vendor responsible for a new feature called Spirits. This will add a whole new layer of charm to the game, and we already cannot resist it ourselves.
We will also expand the management side of the game with a worker management system and a new animal-related feature that will provide additional ingredients for the kitchen of our beloved Maklo.
You will also receive a swimming pool as a new room. No respectable hotel can exist without one! With this, we will reach the end of Act 2 and begin our final adventure!
This update will take a bit more time, as it will focus not only on new content, but also on final balancing and a critical review of the entire experience. With our Early Access launch still fresh in our minds, we want to take as much time as needed. For that reason, we are not announcing a release date yet and we will not rush it.
Simply put, it will be ready when it is ready. That said, we can already see the light at the end of the tunnel. 🙂
What can you expect for the full release of Hotel Galactic?
Of course, the conclusion of Gustav’s story and the stories of his friends too. No story is complete without a farewell party, so we are preparing a proper celebration with all Hotel Galactic characters.
From a gameplay perspective, there is much more to come. We want the hotel to be not only a place where you meet unique characters, but also a creative sandbox where you can combine decoration and management systems in satisfying ways.
For version 1.0, we are bringing back a redesigned Sandbox Mode supported by a new Booking System. This will act as a set of endgame challenges for fellow hotel owners, allowing you to unlock new rewards, complete high-profile tasks worthy of the greatest VIPs, and plan your hotel occupancy.
Guests will also gain access to a hotel bar, and players will receive a reworked building system that allows for more freedom and deeper customization.
These are our current plans, shaped by your ongoing feedback and real needs. Thank you for being so engaged in this process. We hope Hotel Galactic is heading in the direction you wanted to see. Every day, we work hard to ensure new mechanics are properly tested, the game remains balanced, and your voice is heard.
