Quality of Life Changes

  • Card selections at Forgotten Library and Victory screens are now limited to cards from your class or certain neutral cards. This should encourage more helpful card choices and stronger synergies

  • Now displays possible fusions from your deck in Forgotten Library and Victory card selections

  • Shows keyword descriptions on hover instead of middle-click

  • Shows keyword descriptions on hover for enemy attacks as well

  • Enemies should vary their attacks more often, when it makes sense to

  • Lengthened runs by adding 2 more nodes to the beginning of each run (1 enemy, and 1 event node which is weighted to be Forgotten Library most of the time)

  • Tightened up wording of some keyword descriptors

  • Added setting to enable/disable card keyword tooltips

  • Add note to random events to clarify what could happen

  • Rebalanced some enemies and rune gold costs

  • Clarified that "dispel" cards are dispelled when played or fused

  • Minor performance optimizations

  • Various bugfixes

Card Changes

This time around, the Light deck is getting some major love. These changes should make it easier and more viable to lean into the block archetype. With the major buff to Shield Slam (maybe too major?), that block can meaningfully translate into big damage.

Card Buffs

  • Protect - 6 block -> 7 block

  • Aegis - 5 block -> 6 block

  • Shieldbane - 5 block -> 8 block

  • Divine Intervention - Draw 2 cards. Restore 4 health

  • Brimstone Armor - 1 burn -> 2 burn

Card Nerfs

  • Hallowed Ground - 6 damage -> 5 damage

  • Judgement - 8/16 damage -> 7/14 damage

Card Reworks

  • Dissonant swing - Deal 5 damage and daze an enemy with block

  • Shield slam - No longer removes block upon use

  • Divine Blessing - Draw 1 card -> Restore 3 health

  • New Dawn -> Survey - Draw 1 card for each living enemy

  • Heroic Ruination - Deal 5 damage to all enemies. If any character is below half health, deal 12 damage instead

  • Added descriptive text for Phoenix cards
