Added
- Added "tending" to crop and tree plots. When a crop/tree is growing, you can tend to it to increase the speed at which it grows, and automatically harvest/replant seeds/saplings so long as you have the appropriate items in your inventory.
--- Tending to a plot increases its growth speed by 2x.
--- By default, you have to click on a plot to start tending. There's a toggle in the options menu to automatically start tending after planting a seed.
--- A tutorial pop-up has been added for this functionality when you first plant a crop.
- Added an equipment panel to the bank interface so you can directly equip/unequip items to/from the bank.
--- The equipment panel can be opened/closed, which affects the default click behaviour of the bank for equippable items. If the equipment menu is open and you click on an equippable item in the bank, you'll equip it from the bank. Otherwise, you'll withdraw it to your inventory.
- Added a toggle button for the bank trash slot.
- Added a flash and particle effect when trees and ores replenish (lore accurate to Squeaky restoring them through guinergy!)
- Added a buildable shortcut in the slime cavern to reach purple slimes faster.
Changed
- Changed the balance of ores to make mithril more viable and to make each tier of ore progressively get better xp/hr. Note that this will also affect the values of smithed items.
- The Homegrown perk now gives 10 bird nests per tree, instead of just one.
- Removed the tavern basement as it made potion making easy to miss and needlessly tedious to reach.
--- The alchemy bench is now beside the cooking range in the tavern.
--- Any players currently in the inn basement when loading the game will be teleported to the center of Newbrook.
- The item pickup graphics (the ones which float in the world before flying towards your character) will now show the amount of items being picked up if it's larger than 1, eg. Bait obtained from caskets.
- Dropping items in the crafting menu will now reassess if you have free inventory space or not to craft.
- The construction menu now shows how much renown a building will reward upon construction.
- Jewellery now gives much more xp depending on the tier of gem used, ranging from +50xp to +150xp on top of the base 100xp.
- Slightly adjusted the construction costs of some buildings.
- The critter cavern shortcut now creates an actual hole in the wall to make pathing easier. This behaviour is similar to the new slime cavern shortcut.
- The stepping stones shortcut is now walkable tiles instead of a clickable "warp". This makes using it much easier as you can now path over it.
- Changed the name of the critter cave shortcut to "Cave shortcut", not just "Shortcut".
- Changed the Hearty Appetite Vigour perk to require the Contest Eater, not the Steady Breathing perk, for thematic consistency.
- Changed the description of tool bonus speeds to make it clearer they're additive, not multiplicative.
Fixed
- Fixed an issue where cooking fish was not receiving the 25% conservation chance from masteries.
- Fixed a bug causing fishing golden opportunities to not give appropriate rewards when wearing a Jade Amulet.
- Fixed non-copper daggers only providing half the smithing XP they should have been when smithed.
- Fixed an issue where attempting to pick up more items than you have the inventory space for would show an "item gain
