This update focuses primarily on the combat system. New weapons, weapon tuning and skills as well as more combat options
Combat
Each weapon now has both a regular attack and a charged attack.
For melee this adds a more powerful attack option at the expense of some extra time.
For ranged weapons, the charged attack is the only way to fire at range. The regular attack is a melee attack that can be used with the weapon equipped. The attack damage for this is based on your [Stun] skill as the unarmed tree has been moved. See below for details
Weapons
Added Weapons
a. Buzz Saw: A melee weapon that runs on syngas. It attacks quickly and constantly and can even harvest resources. It has some ability to sever limbs and will benefit some from a few of the [Sever] skills.
b. Bat (Wood / Metal): A melee weapon that has a reasonable range and can stun zombies. Ideal for attacking the hardened Hulk-Zombie.
Weapons have now been separated into type with each type having its own benefits.
a. Sever weapons (Axes and other bladed weapons) have an increased ability to remove limbs from zombies. When a limb is removed extra crystals will drop and the zombie will be unable to use that limb. The sever-damage increases with power attacks.
b. Stun weapons (Bats/Fists) have a better chance to stun a zombie, disabling it for a period of time relative to the zombies remaining health (lower health gives longer stun). If an attack that would stun a zombie is also a critical hit then the zombie is also knocked down.
c. Pierce weapons (Pickaxe) now are ideal to take out armored zombies, including the shield zombies. One point of piercing grants an additional minimum amount of damage to any attack with that weapon.
d. Ranged weapons (Bows / Guns) have the advantage of not requiring close to close combat with zombies and a lower stamina use on attack. They also have a high critical hit chance and boast significant damage.
e. Mechanical weapons (Flame Thrower / Buzz Saw) posses the potential for great area of effect and fast damage. They also have unique benefits associated with their size, such as extra armor.
Modifiers now provide a significant upgrade to any weapon they are added to. At the start of the game only one modifier will be able to be attached to any weapon created.
Cannon weapon fire will now affect enemies around the target as well.
Weapons now have a noise value, the louder the weapon the more attention it will draw.
Skills
1) A new set of skills has been added (Sever, Stun, Pierce, Ranged, and Mechanical) to allow for specialization into each weapon type.
2) A new crafting skill has been added for modifications; allowing for more than one modification on a crafted item.
3) While searching you are more likely to find low level items with mods than you are to find higher level items.
4) The crystal drop skill will now make zombies physically drop more crystals to pick up.
Itemization
Syngas is now found in significantly higher abundance.
Some of the larger bunkers had a lot of loot and not a lot of difficulty. More zombies and traps have been added in an attempt to balance this.

The standard zombie and shield zombie now have unique attack specials
