addedThis week's update adds an all new way to play Granvir with the new first person mode. The core intention of first person mode is to help players aim ranged weapons more accurately but there's nothing I can do to stop you from playing an entire campaign with only melee weapons entirely in first person mode.
changedIf you enjoy first person mode, let me know so I can continue to improve it. Please keep in mind that Granvir will still be developed as a third person game foremost and I do not intend to replace third person mode or ensure both perspectives are equally powerful. The goal of first person mode is to provide a useful tool for using ranged weapons and provide a fun way to play for those who enjoy it.
addedMajor FeaturesAdded aim mode, a toggleable first person perspective intended to assist with firing more accurately. Aim mode can be toggled with T by default or a binding can be assigned for hold to aim in the settings. Due to the lack of available controls, controller players will need to assign their own binding in the settings.
addedMinor FeaturesAdded unique more looking buildings to the Millennium Horizon Finale mission and strengthened Millennium Fortress.
changedMinor FeaturesSlightly improved performance on missions with a large amount of enemies. Testing showed ~15% higher framerate on an escalation 93 mission.
fixedFixesFixed the BQ02 Slugg listing a strength requirement it does not have.
