Global Rescue changes
This update brings several quality-of-life and gameplay improvements, including UI scaling, fewer major incidents in the late game, multiple bug fixes, and new language support.
Highlights:
Added UI scaling option
Missions can now be submitted to us as well as via the Steam Workshop if you would like the mission to be integrated into the game
Reduced the number of large missions at the same time in the late game
Fixed a bug where vehicles would sometimes be positioned at an angle in parking spaces
Fixed a bug where mission markers, vehicle markers and base markers were displaying static text and were no longer clickable • Fixed further bugs where vehicles could get stuck at junctions, at the base, or after spawning after missions
Added Turkish translation (Big thanks to Şahan Turğa!)
Balancing:
Reduced the number of large missions at the same time in the late game
We continue to improve balancing in the future, so let us know how you like the latest changes.
Map:
Fixed a road bug between two tiles when expanding the operation area (further fixes are already in progress)
Fixed a bug where there were too many one-way streets in some locations
AI cars no longer drive into short dead-end streets to prevent traffic jams
Fixed a bug that could cause white fog to appear between tiles
Vehicles:
Fixed a bug where vehicles would sometimes be positioned at an angle in parking spaces
Fixed further bugs where vehicles could get stuck at junctions, at the base, or after spawning after missions
Fixed a bug where the fuel gauge was incorrect
For bases with multiple entrances and exits, only those accessible from the parking spot are now used, so vehicles no longer drive across the grass or through walls
Fixed a bug that could cause vehicles to be stuck outside the base after loading
Fixed a bug that sometimes prevented vehicles from entering the base
Fixed a bug that could cause vehicles or staff to be missing after the game loaded
UI:
Added UI scaling option
Fixed a bug where vehicles sometimes could no longer be clicked on
Fixed a bug where the Escape menu would no longer open
Fixed a bug where mission markers, vehicle markers and base markers were displaying static text and were no longer clickable
Performance:
General performance optimizations that should also fix more cases of micro stuttering
More rendering optimizations to lower GPU usage
Fixed performance issues after opening the modding menu
Mission Editor:
Missions can now be submitted to us as well as via the Steam Workshop if you would like the mission to be integrated into the game
Added tooltips to the Mission Editor
Other:
Added Turkish translation (Big thanks to Şahan Turğa!)
Fixed a bug that sometimes allowed research to be performed even when you didn’t have enough research points
Fixed a bug that prevented the button to jump to a mission with the camera from working when a vehicle was selected
Fixed a bug that could cause a save file to fail to load in rare cases
Our next focus will be on one more patch to further improve stability and performance, as well as fixing some more bugs. After that, we will start with the first content update so that you also get some new features.
