π§ Update v0.2.42 β Defensive Coalitions, Supply-Constrained GDP & Active Inflation Management
Hello Commanders!
This update introduces defensive coalitions, aggressive expansion scaling, and supply-constrained GDP. It also adds full-value conquest GDP transfers, active inflation tools, a collapsible UN panel, and critical shipped-build stability fixes.
π‘οΈ Defensive Coalitions & Threat (Aggressive Expansion)
Value-Scaled Threat: Annexing territories now generates Aggressive Expansion (AE) scaled directly by the wealth and population of conquered provinces rather than a flat value. Rich, dense cities yield significantly more AE.
Coordinated Coalitions: Nearby nations threatened by your conquests will form defensive coalitions. The coalition will monitor your power and launch coordinated coalition wars only when their combined forces exceed the strength of your national alliances.
War-Time Threat Locking: Aggressive Expansion decay is temporarily paused while your nation is actively engaged in any war, preventing you from shedding threat during prolonged conflicts.
Nuclear Strike Threat: Detonating a nuclear weapon now generates massive global threat (+40 for the first strike, +10 subsequently) and triggers severe diplomatic fallout. Dynamic bilateral alliances will immediately dismantle if relations drop below -25.
π Supply-Constrained GDP & Active Inflation
Full-Value Conquest Transfers: Annexing territory now transfers 100% of the captured province's economic GDP value to the victor, correcting a calculation mismatch where territory gains barely shifted national GDP.
Supply-Side Growth Limits: Implemented supply-constrained GDP. Factory output and regional GDP are now limited by the availability of required raw resources, introducing physical limits to your industrial expansion.
Active Inflation Management: Inflation no longer automatically decays over time. Players and AI central banks must actively manage inflation using monetary policy (interest rate hikes up to 32%) or fiscal reserve injections.
Economic Warfare Safeguards: Capped inflation spikes caused by economic warfare sabotage actions to prevent them from locking victim nations at maximum inflation rates.
π’ UI Polish & Shipped-Build Crash Fixes
Collapsible UN Panel: The UN Security Council (UNSC) interface has been redesigned to be collapsible, freeing up precious screen space.
- Turkish Tooltip HarmonyFixed vowel-harmony suffix formatting in Turkish tooltips.
- Critical Stability ResolutionsFixed 5 crashes reported in shipped builds, including text-cursor caret errors when renaming saves or entering market amounts, chart mesh math errors, and null pointer crashes during missile trajectory tracking.
β‘ Game Performance
AI Decision Optimization: Optimized data querying and evaluation loops for AI coalition logic, lowering memory usage on lower-spec and low-RAM devices.
