addedAs we said in the last post, we're going to be adding 2 new maps over the next few weeks as we gear up for launch. The first one is Long Isle Factory, this is going to be the easiest map currently in Get Out and will serve as the perfect follow-up to the current tutorial.
fixedFixed a bug where the max walk speed was never reached, causing the entities to be sluggish and slow
fixedFixed a bug where all players would freeze when another player dies
addedAdded new map (Long Isle Factory)
addedAdded difficulty display to the lobby, you can now see what maps are, easy, medium, and hard.
addedChanged new map (easy) to be the default first map

As we said in the last post, we're going to be adding 2 new maps over the next few weeks as we gear up for launch. The first one is Long Isle Factory, this is going to be the easiest map currently in Get Out and will serve as the perfect follow-up to the current tutorial.

We also implemented some bug fixes/changes based on feedback.

Fixes:

  • Fixed a bug where the max walk speed was never reached, causing the entities to be sluggish and slow

  • Fixed a bug where all players would freeze when another player dies

Changes:

  • Added new map (Long Isle Factory)

  • Added difficulty display to the lobby, you can now see what maps are, easy, medium, and hard.

  • Changed new map (easy) to be the default first map

  • Significantly increased entity speed and aggression

  • Added a mask to the nurse death animation

  • Made the flashlights brighter, and reach further on the outside maps

  • Significantly improved the look and feel of the death animation, its still not 100% but it already feels cleaner.
