Genome Guardian 2 changes
⚖ BALANCE
"Saucer" Platform: now comes with Evasion +30% (just like the "Tentacle" & "Spider" Platforms).
"Electric" Core: Charge Rate 3/s → 3.333/s. (it'll still say 3/s in-game since the decimals aren't shown but it is faster)
"Stabilizer" Mod: the Accuracy decrease while not firing occurs half as fast now (buff).
🔄 CHANGES
added some more SETUP menu DIVE button warnings (ex. "Barrier" Mod + "Channel" Gadget).
added a number of tips to specific part descriptions that are only visible if you haven't won enough with it to help combat some new player missconceptions, including but not limited to:
"Tempest" Guardian:"if you're not using high Knockback weapons wit this, you're doing something wrong"
"Concentrator" Barrel:"pairing this with already precise/long-range weapons is a waste"
"Plasma" Core:"staying at low Heat won't take advantage of its powerful Firerate buff"
"Fusion" Core:"constantly firing at low Charge is very weak"
"Extinguisher" Mod:"works best with low Firerate weapons"
a lot of you are probably rolling your eyes at these, but you'd be surprised how often these are needed
🔨 FIXES
Guardian:
Curler:
nanobot won't try to avoid iceball'd Microbes when "Spider" Platform is equipped.
contact with non-iceball'd Microbes now refuels Core when "Biofuel" Core is equipped.
Cerberus: when changing your Cone in SETTINGS during a dive, it'll now immediately be reflected on each Cerberus turret.
"Sprinkler" Bracket:
no longer shows aim line when combined with "Tractor" Barrel.
no longer fires projectiles from only one side in "SHMUP" Mode.
Mods:
- Mandiblethought I fixed it last update - this time for real.
Stabilizer: the Accuracy increase was occuring after like 2.3s instead of 2s.
- Onionring visuals (ex. "Coldsnap" Gadget) were shrinking/growing when this Mod changed Nanobot Scale mid-wave.
Pincer: the "NO WEAPONS HAVE PIERCE!" warning when adding that one Pierce Chip will no longer show if you have this equipped.
Saline: wouldn't restore [Core Type] on Cores that start full and empty (ex. Saline wouldn't trigger if you took Damage while at 0% Fuel with the "Diesel" Core equipped).
"Cloak" Gadget: no longer stops turning / eratic movement on Offspring or Powerpolyps.
"Deposit Chance +300%" Chip: was claiming to be +400% still.
"Sonar" Cone:
best wave #s in RECORDS displaying as 998 (when it's actually 999) now display correct values.
