changedProjectile CollisionHit detection was previously nonexistant; Shrooms simply picked the closest target, sent a spore linearly in that direction, and damage was applied once the spore reached its destination, irrespective of how far the robot actually was from the spore at that point in time. Damage is now done purely based on collision. Additionally, terrain objects now block projectiles and line of sight, increasing the need to tactically place offensive mushrooms on higher levels.
addedNew ContentAlong with the projectile mechanic overhaul this update adds a new map and two new mushroom cards: a brand new projectile shroom, and a super variant of the crystalshroom.
addedFull Update NotesNew: Ground-up overhaul of projectile mechanics: Projectiles now have physics and gravity. Hit detection is now done via physics collision. Projectiles can now collide with terrain; Most shrooms must now have LOS to shoot.
changedFull Update NotesBalance: All shooting shrooms have had various stats tweaked to maintain balance.
addedFull Update NotesNew: Shroom placement ghost now turns red when it cannot be placed.
addedFull Update NotesNew: Cursor circle now indicates range of shrooms.

Tired of spores not obeying the laws of physics??
Well they still don't really, but It is slightly more realistic now.
Projectile Arcs
Gravity exists! Projectiles now arc through the air. They also travel slightly slower overall, so shooting mushrooms now make an attempt to lead their shots.
Projectile Collision
Hit detection was previously nonexistant; Shrooms simply picked the closest target, sent a spore linearly in that direction, and damage was applied once the spore reached its destination, irrespective of how far the robot actually was from the spore at that point in time. Damage is now done purely based on collision. Additionally, terrain objects now block projectiles and line of sight, increasing the need to tactically place offensive mushrooms on higher levels.
