Friend and foe changes
Friend & Foe — Patch Notes (v1.299 → v1.309)
Combat feels better
Block-absorb popup, card-exhaust animation, drone-death VFX, and 14 new sound effects.
Audio mix lowered for combat layer.
Screen shake now triggers on actual HP loss, not telegraphed intent value.
Damage rework
Sharpen now multiplies Firepower as players expect. Sharpen heavy builds hit noticeably harder;
Card changes
Striker: Quick Draw is now a 3 charge card. Adrenaline Rush costs 2 AP for 4 (was 1AP for 2). Killshot trimmed.
- InfiltratorMark and Strike reworked: grants Sharpen instead of Backfire. "Damage buffs doubled" on 8 cards renamed to "Sharpen and Firepower count twice."
Shared: Sniper Shot cheaper but smaller base: upgrade boosts long-range payoff.
Feint and Supply Drop upgrades both silently did nothing. Now actually work.
Class starters
Combo Processor (Striker): every attack grants Sharpen, capped at 3/turn.
Hex Resonance (Infiltrator): now applies Backfire whenever you self-buff or debuff an enemy.
Enemy balance
Spike-hit pass: untelegraphed nukes shaved
F1 elites + non-elites pulled back; F1 should feel less punishing.
Crimson Archon (F3 boss) gains Firepower when its attacks land unblocked damage.
Enemies outside their preferred zone take a steeper damage hit. Kiting matters more.
Ascension
A8 and A9 enemy HP/damage bonuses both dropped from +15% → +10%.
Other
"Status" card type renamed to "Glitch" to match the existing vocabulary.
- Time-Locked Cache event (Vault)gave one reward when it should've given three. Fixed.
Bot AI is smarter about enemy distance falloff and Pulse Regulator synergy.
Translations filled in for drone tooltips, coop events, and power cards.
Build size reduced from 385 MB to 265 MB.
New background for main and map screen
New sound effect
