Conquer the Desert | New Map: Oasis!
Be prepared to deploy to our newest Conquest map, Oasis, and traverse the sandy dunes and lush greenery by the rivers that cut through the land. Originally, the area was used for oil drilling, until red orpiment veins were discovered by accident. Naturally, O.R.E. swooped in and built a refinery on site, with the Coalition mounting an attack to prevent them from refining any more of the precious red ore. Will you be the one to own this desert?
Introducing, the APC | New Vehicle!
A new vehicle is thrown into the mix! The Armored Personnel Carrier, or APC for short, is perfect for navigating difficult terrain and water, transporting troops, and protecting them from the dangers of the battlefield. There is also an “APC Attack” Map Variant available for Paradise Conquest. Try it out, and let us know what you think!
Lastly, this update is paired with a small price increase. Forefront’s new price point moves from $22.99 to $24.99, starting today!

General
Added a feature to make sure the game remembers your selected class when loading into a new map
Added additional measures to improve server CPU performance
Added network performance metrics to monitor server performance
Made sure spawning on players outside combat zones is no longer possible
Fixed players looking in the wrong direction when spawning on a teammate
Fixed bomb haptic on rush playing for all teammates
Fixed voice chat when in vehicle third person mode
Fixed attackers not able to spawn during the moving objective period in Rush
Fixed server start lagging when trying to physically press the horn on the quad
(Potentially) Fixed guns fast firing
Weapons & Attachments
Reduced horizontal recoil across the board, and slightly increased spread and vertical recoil to compensate
We made this change to make gun play more controlled and meaningful, making keeping your sights/reticles on target more manageable. This, without having players beam each other from across the map (which is where the spread increase comes in).
Added better tracking to homing missiles from the Talon-92, now chasing the future position of the helicopter based on its velocity
Improved accuracy over time of the homing missiles from the Talon-92 (they can now turn faster)
Fixed issue where sometimes the Talon-92 would deal no damage on impact
Reticle of Talon-92 and AA vehicle now gets red when locked on to a helicopter that deployed its flares
Tweaked attachment unlock thresholds
Reduced kickback on the Behemoth M50
Fixed weapon jamming after putting it away (e.g. after parachuting)
Fixed claymores sometimes not getting destroyed after exploding
Fixed jitter when using a sniper scope with v-stock
Fixed Claymores getting triggered by gadgets
Fixed RPG projectile ricocheting off of allied players
Fixed C4 clipping through Rush bomb pedestal, resulting in invisible C4
Vehicles
Added pilot no longer being able to repair helicopters (they need a passenger to do it, or otherwise land and exit the vehicle to repair it themselves)
Added empty vehicle icon when close to an empty vehicle
Fixed squad members not seeing the transport helicopter button to spawn on
Maps
People inside walls can no longer shoot and kill players (to tackle the bug abuse on Tunnels, fix for actually getting into the walls will follow)
Added bullet impact effects to the green tarp fences prop on a variety of maps
Changed fallback timer from 30 to 40 seconds on Paradise Rush
Tightened the helicopter bounds for the first rush zone, closer to the spawn on Paradise Rush
Tightened the attacker bounds on the last point of Mauritania
Fixed reflection probe not showing when flying too high on Mauritania
Fixed incorrect skybox texture being shown on Siberia Conquest
Fixed some extra spots where vehicles can now drive on stairs on a variety of maps
Fixed a zipline being inside geometry on Paradise
UI
Added squad leaders now showing at the top of the personal and squad view
Added player name UI to vehicles, only showing the main driver of that vehicle
Added an indicator to the UI to show how many players occupy a vehicle
Added missing haptics to UI elements
Improved vehicle icons for UI to free up space
Ammo icon now only displays when low on bullets, ignoring gadget supply
Deploy menu no longer shows after match has ended
Fixed tank HUD overlay
Fixed not seeing the onboarding UI when leaving a server while in third person mode
Fixed changing teams not changing the color of the new team’s vehicle on the map
Fixed a bug that resulted in two main menu UIs showing
Fixed icon above vehicle clipping with passenger/driver names
Fixed intermittent flashing bomb UI on Rush
(Potentially) Fixed revivable UI still appearing on dead bodies after switching class
Audio
Added dial click sounds for the spawn beacon
Added a respawn point selection sound
Fixed flares back online sound also playing after re-entering the helicopter after the reload
