Balance Changes
The intent of the balance changes was to tune down some of the actions and cores that had counters, but were still a bit too reliable in comparison to other builds. The Ambush and Companion Core changes mean that every core can now be stacked for some benefit.
Ambush Core: Gained the additional effect: Repeat this at the end of the state machine for each additional Ambush core.
Companion Core: Additional copies of this core affect the next highest-Health SUMMON action as well. (If you have fewer SUMMON actions than cores this effect wraps around, meaning that if you have only one SUMMON action and two Companion Cores it would gain the effect the first two times that it was used) 🦑
Tribal Core: No longer increases the speed of boomerangs when they are rethrown. Only throws one additional boomerang when a boomerang is caught for the first time. (down from 2)
Purity Core: Buffs apply to actions with no modules. (previously applied to actions with no modules and no modifiers)
- DolphinTime until it reenters the battlefield has been reduced to 1 second. (down from 1.5) 🦑
- ShurikenDamage increased to 4 (from 2), now only throws one shuriken per damage (down from two per damage)
Hammer: No longer destroys SOLID actions. (The only interaction that changes with this is that hammer and trident now destroy each other, so this is mainly for future proofing)
Pentagram: After 10 uses the action is no longer used. This means that it does not trigger curse, count for trident damage or trigger additional mutates.
Garden Eels: Whale has been replaced with Torpedo in its creature shop.
Bugfixes
Fixed a bug where actions with increased probability could appear in the creature shop of creatures that do not have this action in their shop. 🦑
Fixed a bug where Swap Shot could swap you outside the battlefield.
Fixed a bug where a creature with the Resurrection Core could resurrect with 0 health and no longer used its state machine. 🦑
Fixed an issue where the stats UI toggle did not work after changing the combat speed.
Let me know if you still encounter the Swap Shot or Resurrection bug, since there could still be other edge cases that I missed.
