Patch 1.0.11 part 1

Patch 1.0.11 part 1 is now live! I am not quite done with the bigger features that I wanted to add with this patch and therefore I will release another patch with them later this month.

Balance Changes:

Tribal:

  • Gives 1 strength (up from 0)

  • No longer gives boomerangs +1 damage

  • Has a 50% chance to spawn a new boomerang, whenever a boomerang is caught for the first time (down from always spawning 1)

  • New effect: Whenever you rethrow a boomerang it gets +1 speed

Witch Core:

  • No longer gives health (down from 2)

  • Now gives 4 energy (up from 2)

Propeller Blades:

  • Duration has been decreased to 5s (down from 8s)

  • Speed has been increased to 4 (up from 3)

Other improvements:

  • Actions that are spawned by the creature now always try to spawn at the creature's position if it is inside the battlefield. This means for example if the creature is still throwing shurikens while it teleports away from the battlefield and then enters again, the remaining shuriken will spawn at the new position.

  • Made further improvements to how actions interact with other actions that are outside the battlefield. Actions which had a summon as a target that leaves the battlefield will stop chasing that action.

  • Various performance improvements.

02.05.2025 Hotfix 1:

  • Fixed Ambush not working correctly with Garden Eels 🦑

14.05.2025 Hotfix 2:

  • Many small game optimizations that should result in fights maintaining a stable framerate even when many actions spawn and combo off each other.

  • Fixed a bug where Garden Eels could already be hit by an enemy scream before the first state and therefore they would start the combat confused.

  • Propeller blades now take longer to grow to full size. This prevents an issue where propeller blade builds with Ambush would cause the blade to immediately collide with a wall and stop moving. 🦑

  • If a creature has the Artillery Core and the enemy is off the battlefield, actions with aim now choose a random downward direction instead of hovering near the top of the battlefield.

  • Improved the time it takes for Curse to be applied if the enemy is far away or off the battlefield. 🦑
