EOPN – Test RS changes
This is the 2nd and major update to the EOPN - Test RS video game \o/ ːsteamhappyː The game is building up new features and will continue to do so to become the ultimate training tool, a 3D space chess wrapped in a good story (it's coming).
Features at a glance
What players will find now is :
Savegames (automatic after each turn and 2 manual slots), so that your progression is never lost
Progression (new rank every 10 reputation points) [ship upgrades coming SOON]
Blackhole gameplay to ambush enemies
A timer in critical actions to put pressure on your decisions
Asteroid destruction that impacts other NPCs
Multi-action in zoomed mode so you don't have to zoom in and out of the same position for several possible actions
VFX for the game (attacks lvl1 and 2. More animations coming)
New animations
Refined game balance (see changelog) and UI ergonomy (right clicking cycles through the CODEX pages)

New features
Added a timer during fights, if the player does not take action in the allotted time, the player loses his turn.
End of integration of menus and display of saves
Addition of the backup system in JSON format
Add automatic save at the end of each turn of the game.
In zoomed view, clicking in space or on the player's ship allows you to access a choice to exit the zoomed view without performing any action
Blackholes:
During a blackhole move, all enemies within 3 squares are attracted.
For a period of 15 seconds, the player loses autonomy and must click with the left mouse click to resist the attraction of the blackhole.
In case of defeat if sucked by the blackhole, the game ends.
In case of victory, player returns to the map with all attracted enemies destroyed.
Asteroids [ticket 004]:
The action "destroy an asteroid" is now a zoomed view action.
Destroying an asteroid now causes 1 point of damage to the ships present on the same spot (allies/neutrals/enemies)
The enemy/neutral ships destroyed by this action give the usual reputation and loot bonuses/malus
The ally ships destroyed give a malus of 3 reputation points and no loot.
During a jump on the player's current position, enemies now move randomly around the player. [Ticket 008] Enemy ship randomly moves from 1 to 3 squares (depending on the level of the enemy ship) around him.
Added visual effects when the player attacks in combat phase [ticket 006]
Balance
When a resource module is destroyed, the associated resources are lost.
During the smuggling action with an enemy, if no resources are exchanged, the fight resumes.
The action "Wait for help" when the autonomy module is destroyed, repairs the module at the cost of a BTC or a reputation point.
Change of the score formula to (reputation / laps)
It is now possible in a single turn to perform several actions in zoomed view.
Combat timer goes from 20 sec to 12 sec
Smuggling with an enemy no longer stops the timer. At the end of the timer, the exchange in progress is validated as it is.
Timer changes to 15 sec (to stay true to the exam)
"Wait for help" triggers repair and cost values proportional to the level of called allied ship
Addition of reputation equal to the cumulative amount of enemy levels destroyed during a blackhole
