Bug squashing

  • Issue

    With damaged (1 to 3) systems, repairing on habitable planets, hovering over the "repair" button, the game would freeze.

    Cause

    Infinite loop executing on the damaged systems blue notification effect.

    Solution

    Loop closed, no execution till infinity ^^'.

  • Issue

    With arsenal lvl3, it's possible to pay ransom without money.

    Cause

    Code error in resource verification for action.

    Solution

    Condition correction for action validation.

  • Spying 1 to 3 jumps away, arriving with 0 invisibility, spying doesn't consume the other actions possible on that spot, which the player can still perform if the conditions are met.

  • Sound FX made to overlap instead of the new one playing cutting the previous.

  • Master warning/master caution blinking again with the new random failure system (see below)

  • Map reticle made to disappear with the entity that the player engaged with (see new topography reticle below)

  • Autonomy overshooting corrected (capped at 32 jumps)

Balance

  • Destroying neutrals reduces reputation in accordance with their level (-1,-2,-3)

  • FAILURES ARE NOW RANDOM yay ! Repairing still occurs with priority of module (from bottom to top of the list) and module state (red, then orange)

  • Score is now: "turns/reputation", which is much more legible

  • "Surrender" goes from +1 reputation to +2.

Ergonomy

  • Sound after resource acquirement doesn't play anymore when that resource is maxed out

  • Sound delay tweaked for warning sounds

  • Music sound controller added on top of ambient, effects and principal

  • Game over music sound now only plays once

  • English translation fix : repair hull -> Hull (action réparation)

  • English translation fix : ship : -> hull : (fiche codex vaisseau allié)

  • Red notification added on money when repairing is not possible due to lack of money

Technicals

  • Project updated for Unity 6 (6000.0.18f1).
