New systems are in, bugs are out, and Eclipse is feeling more alive than ever!
A fresh patch just landed with tons of improvements, new map objects, smoother UI, and a whole lot of quality of life updates. Here’s everything packed into this build.
New Systems and Content
• Chest system is fully integrated and valuable chests now spawn across the map • Luck, Tear, XP and Coin multipliers are live • Map visuals refreshed and new chests added • Book drops integrated into the game (21 brand new books!) • The rarity roll system is complete, so Luck now affects what you pull from chests • Difficulty stat and Elite spawn stat added • Elite enemies and bosses now drop gold • Stat limits increased for better late-game scaling • Walking into an interactable auto-holds the interact key
New Map Objects
• Energy Spire → Lasts 20s. Increases attack speed by 20% inside the area, but also increases damage taken by 10%.
• Sanctuary Beacon → Lasts 15s. Reduces damage taken by 30%, but applies a 50% movement speed debuff.
New Breakables
Introducing breakable objects around the map! • Scholar’s Cache gives XP • Merchant’s Chest gives Gold • Soulbound Crate gives Tear or SVP • Barrel explodes after a delay and deals area damage • Crystal Node drops a craft item you can use during the run • Fragment can drop XP, Gold, Tear or SVP • XP Jar scatters XP orbs • Frozen Jar explodes and slows enemies
All breakables are now non-targetable by auto attacks for smoother combat flow. Explore the map to reach your full potential!
UI and UX Improvements
• Buttons now scale properly when hovered • Selecting items with mouse and navigating with keyboard no longer selects two at once • SVP and kill count are now visible on the main screen • Chest screen reorganized for better readability • Identical stat text now stacks cleanly so you see +20 SVP instead of a long chain of +10s • Luck multiplier UI added • Zoomed camera view updated for clarity • Chest items you picked now appear on the game screen • Steam Deck UI issues on the skill selection screen have been fixed
Gameplay Fixes
• Immortality performance issue fixed • Chain skill no longer pulls health when enemies die • Enemy loot drops now work properly • Necromancer’s Wings no longer summons unlimited skeletons • Weapons no longer level up before unlocking • Poison-throwing enemies are back to their intended speed • Fear skill now scales correctly • HP potion drops from enemies slightly reduced for balance
