Echoes of Eclipse changes
Welcome to Echoes of Eclipse, a fast paced roguelite shoot 'em up packed with nonstop action, evolving builds, and relentless enemy waves. Every run is different, every fight is intense, and every choice shapes how far you will go inside the Eclipse. The Beta is now live and filled with new systems that let you fight, craft, and grow your power in your own way. Here is what makes Echoes of Eclipse stand out.
Gameplay and Core Systems
At its heart, Echoes of Eclipse is about fast reactions and smart decisions. You begin each run with your chosen weapons and abilities, then face swarms of enemies that grow stronger as you survive. While you fight, you collect items, upgrade your skills, and shape your build during the battle.
The inventory system where you can view and equip, makes managing your items simple and quick. The merge and craft systems let you combine materials to create stronger weapons or new gear variations that suit your playstyle.
Behind the scenes, the game now supports live balancing, which means player stats, enemy power, and skill values can be updated instantly without the need for new patches. You keep playing while the game keeps improving.
Permanent Progression
Your journey continues even after a run ends.
With the Tear Currency system, you can permanently upgrade your weapon levels outside of combat, giving every session lasting value. Each victory brings you closer to building your ideal setup.
Achievements have also been added to reward your progress and highlight your milestones as you grow stronger and take on tougher challenges.
The Mailbox connects everything together. It will be used to deliver in game rewards, event prizes, and special messages directly to players. This feature also lays the groundwork for future tournaments and community events.
Combat Feel and Mechanics
Every hit matters in Echoes of Eclipse. Enemies now react visibly when they take damage, flashing white, staggering, or being pushed back. These small details make every fight feel alive and rewarding.
A stamina bar has been added next to your HP bar. Right now stamina is used for dashing, but it will be expanded in future updates to introduce new movement and timing mechanics. The game also includes full controller support, giving smooth and responsive combat for both keyboard and gamepad players.
Skills, Elements, and Combos
Each skill now belongs to an elemental category such as fire, ice, or lightning. This elemental system brings more depth to combat since some elements interact with others to create stronger effects known as Good With combinations.
All skills have been adjusted and expanded, and several new ones have been added. The combo system feels faster and more powerful, encouraging players to discover new ways to dominate the battlefield.
Enemies and Challenges
Prepare to face new threats. The Beta version introduces new mini bosses and enemy types with distinct abilities and attack patterns. Each encounter tests your reflexes and decision making while keeping the experience unpredictable and intense.
Customization and Companions
Your character, your style. You can now customize your appearance through the Skin Selection screen and bring a Pet companion into battle.
Pets add personality to your journey and will play a larger role in future updates as the companion system expands.
Co op and Multiplayer
You do not have to face the chaos alone.
Echoes of Eclipse supports local co-op for up to four players on the same screen, allowing you to fight together with friends.
