EASOAR Patch - 1.2.1

fixedSince shields are pretty new, they're probably unbalanced, but for now I've done some work to fix issues when it comes blocking explosions. There's also been this lingering bug since the dawn of time that the FOG from Whittle Road follows the player after leaving the level. Surely this time, it will be fixed...
changedThe hitbox for explosions have been adjusted so there needs to be line of sight with no shield in the way to count as a hit. Since the hitbox is instant, it can spawn inside the player.
removedPowersaws no longer linger in the air after Compass has been defeated while doing their projectile attack.
changedDarkmatter Oiseau has been adjusted slightly to not spam their "jumping projectile attack" half the fight. Now only done if the player is climbing up the walls.
removedThe fog should no longer follow the player outside of levels.

Since shields are pretty new, they're probably unbalanced, but for now I've done some work to fix issues when it comes blocking explosions. There's also been this lingering bug since the dawn of time that the FOG from Whittle Road follows the player after leaving the level. Surely this time, it will be fixed...

Patch Notes:

  • The hitbox for explosions have been adjusted so there needs to be line of sight with no shield in the way to count as a hit. Since the hitbox is instant, it can spawn inside the player.

  • Going left before fighting Orchestra will not longer kill the player and play the cutscene again with strange effects.

  • Powersaws no longer linger in the air after Compass has been defeated while doing their projectile attack.

  • Darkmatter Oiseau has been adjusted slightly to not spam their "jumping projectile attack" half the fight. Now only done if the player is climbing up the walls.

  • Darkmatter Oiseau shouldn't have that lingering charge effect follow them after getting staggered

  • The fog should no longer follow the player outside of levels.
