Updates

  • Many players complained about the lack of loot in locations. We've placed crates on all map locations, including the Reverse Side. In some places, the number of loot boxes has been increased. We also added a few hidden stashes.

  • Increased ammo spawn; starting quests now give more ammo.

  • Reduced weapon breakage chance, and weapon durability now decreases more slowly.

  • Fixed pistol animations - hands no longer flicker in front of the camera while sprinting.

  • There were many complaints about the low amount of loot and ammo. For now, we've added a trader in the first version. We will be balancing the economy, so we're waiting for your feedback! You can purchase items on the PC in the bunker; it unlocks after completing the 4th quest in the port.

  • Purchased items appear at the base after half an in-game day, in a special crate next to the entrance. Later, an NPC with their own voice lines will be added, who "brings" these items to the bunker.

  • Also, you can now find money in the city.

  • We also noticed feedback about the slow overall pace of the game and decided to add a heartbeat sensor and The Creature already in the second quest — the one where you search for items in your father's apartment.

  • We're also working on monster loot. In the survey, we saw several mentions that loot from monsters feels unrealistic. Special monster items will be added: 3 rarity levels, one item per level, which can be sold to scientists.

  • The detector has been refinedanimation changed, added a blinking light effect when The Creature is nearby, and a screen that scans the surrounding space (shows portals and loot boxes on the Reverse Side). It will be further improved.
  • Changed The Creature's behavior in the real world - it now approaches the player less often (only when heartbeat reaches 125, or if heartbeat stays above 100 for too long).

  • Changed The Creature's behavior on the Other Side - it still gets aggressive like in the real world, but if you fight it off, it retreats instead of constantly attacking the player. Also, if The Creature has no target, it now patrols the Reverse Side instead of standing still.

  • Changed monster behavior on the Reverse Side — previously, when heartbeat exceeded 100 BPM, they would aggro on the player and move directly to their location. Now they don't always go straight to the player, and not immediately — instead, they move to a random spot nearby.

  • Work has been done on monster sounds - added footsteps for monsters, separate sounds for detecting the player, and investigation sounds (when a monster hears something).

  • Monster spawns have been refined in both the real world and the Reverse Side — monsters are now placed on all locations.

  • Monsters now have fear - when low on health, they may try to run away.

  • Added a delay for monsters when taking damage — they no longer aggro instantly.

  • Added modulation to player footsteps to diversify the sound.

  • Added highlight to useful items in invetory - ammo, medicine, quest items.

  • Added coffee beans as an item; you can brew coffee from them in the kitchen.

  • Added spawn of empty shell casings in loot boxes.

  • Added required materials when crafting all devices in the bunker (previously, some could be built without resources).

  • Added reload sound to the Stechkin pistol and fixed its break animation.

  • Added Molotov cocktail, available to craft at the workbench.

  • The bed no longer restores health - healing is now provided by the "Infirmary" device.

  • Added a border to the map and changed the map image to a clearer, more readable version.

Fixed

  • Fixed a bug where ammo loaded in a weapon wasn't saved when traveling from the bunker to the city.

  • Fixed a bug with incorrect display of the oxygen indicator on the Reverse Side.

  • Fixed cursor display and focus loss when exiting the skills menu.

  • Fixed a bug where using an item during reload would interrupt the reload.

  • Fixed an issue where monsters could spawn right next to the player in the city at the start of the game.

  • Fixed a bug where grenade throw was assigned to the "K" key by default.

  • Fixed a bug where grenades could destroy crates and the workbench inside the bunker.

  • Removed the possibility of dying inside the bunker.

  • Fixed a bug where 7.62x38 ammo didn't give resources when disassembled.

  • Fixed a bug where reading a note while the journal was open wouldn't update the journal.

  • Fixed incorrect localization display for Chinese and Japanese. Added Korean localization.

  • Fixed a bug where killed monsters would respawn after returning from the Reverse Side.

  • Fixed the sound of drinking coffee.

  • Fixed a bug where the player was visible when grabbed by The Creature.

  • Fixed a bug where dying at point-blank range and teleporting to the Reverse Side would cause the player to instantly die there as well.
