Hi everyone! Today we've released a small hotfix update for the demo version. New content includes a new pistol and changes to the behavior of the Creature on the Other Side.
Updates
Added Stechkin pistol (uses 9x18mm ammo, has full-auto firing mode)
Added visual effect and animation for the tranquilizer (quickly lowers heart rate for 120 seconds, but causes temporary vision side effects)
You can now move items from your backpack to quick slots (previously, only items from pockets could be moved)
Reworked the "Other Side" Creature AI:
It now approaches when your heart rate exceeds 130, or when you take damage
If you lower your pulse to 60, it stops attacking and switches to patrolling instead of continuing to chase you
It now patrols multiple locations when it has no target
Monsters now make a scream sound when they spot you and enter attack mode
Added fire mode toggle (press "B" to switch)
Added sound effect when monsters hit the player
Hovering over ammo now shows its damage value
Reduced recoil and bullet spread for the AK-74
Inventory now saves when you exit the bunker to the main menu
Reduced damage from barbed wire on the Other Side
Monsters now react to sounds with a slight delay
Added sound for scrapping items
Bandit NPCs now alert nearby allies when they detect a target
When double overencumbered, the player can no longer move
Fixes
Fixed collision issues on the stairs of the bridge at the train depot location
Partially fixed Chinese text display issues
Fixed the size of the right-side menu (Skills/Base/Journal) in the bunker
Fixed the safe's interaction label
Fixed bug showing multiple fire icons when standing near a campfire
Fixed monsters being able to see soldiers in the other dimension
Fixed picking up/opening backpacks from the floor
Fixed a portal near the main square where players could get stuck when passing from the Other Side
Fixed cloud rendering bug: clouds no longer appear incorrectly when entering a mission at night
