Week 8
This Week's Development Progress
This week focused on optimizing the new player tutorial, expanding poison-based gameplay, adding new content, and balancing equipment and character skill values.
New Features
Enhanced Description System
Pressing Alt + Click will now display additional information in various situations.
New Skill Pre-Learning Feature
Players can now pre-select skills they wish to learn. Once the required conditions are met, the system will automatically learn the selected skill.
Reworked New Player Tutorial
The tutorial now features improved visual presentation. Different types of content are divided into separate chapters, with 2 chapters currently completed.
New Bard Specialization Tasks
Reach 50 beats in a single solo run.
Play more than 10 different songs in a single solo run.
New Equipment
Exaggerated Ring (Accessory): Each attack has a 50% chance to become a powerful strike.
Poisonous Steps (Leg Armor): Every 5 seconds, applies 2 stacks of Poison to enemy units within 2 tiles.
Corrosive Venom Blade (Knight Weapon): If the target has more than 20 Poison stacks, there is a 5% chance to increase the next Glory effect by 0.5 strength.
Toxic Faith (Priest Weapon): Attacks apply 1 stack of Poison to the target, but the user loses 2 Flesh.
Marching Boots (Leg Armor): Move forward 1 tile every 25 seconds.
New Equipment Affixes
Toxic Touch: Powerful strikes apply 3 stacks of Poison to the target.
Toxic Shell: Taking damage within the first 10 seconds of a battle applies 1 stack of Poison to the attacker.
Poison: Each stack deals 1 true damage per second for 2 seconds, up to a maximum of 99 stacks.
Polished Helmet: Reduces incoming critical damage by 3.
Polished Armor: Reduces incoming critical damage by 2.
New Tags
Added Banner, Battle Start, and Threshold tags.
Bug Fixes
Fixed an issue where the Guitar Cowboy dungeon could still be challenged after unlocking the character.
Fixed incorrect display of character head indicators.
Fixed the missing reforging button.
Fixed an issue where specialization rewards could be repeatedly obtained by resetting levels in casual mode.
Fixed an issue in multi-map dungeons where selecting one map prevented changing the dungeon on the other unselected map.
Balance Adjustments
Character Skills
Prey Selection: Casts for 2 seconds at battle start; switches target to the enemy within range with the lowest combined defenses.
- Take InitiativeBase armor penetration increased from 1 → 2.
- Toxic BurstDamage adjusted to 10 + 0.2 AP as magic damage.
- Toxic ShellHit trigger chance adjusted to (37 + Level × 7)%.
- Spider God's ProtectionExtra protection range reduced from 7 → 3; bonus defenses reduced from 30 → 20; cooldown reduced by 10 seconds.
- Toxic FrenzyBonus attack power changed to Level × 5.
- Descending Palm StrikeDamage scaling increased from 0.1 → 0.5; each ultimate cast now has a 50% chance to deal damage and no longer decreases over time.
Dungeon Adjustments
Added round-based unlock requirements for C/S-tier dungeons; increased enemy levels in easy recruitment dungeons.
Shield Guardian Specialization Task Adjustment
Adjusted to require the sum of physical, fire, and cold resistances to exceed 400.
Game Optimization
Improved text display before and after completing specialization tasks.
Optimized skill description UI borders.
Enhanced attack effects for Royal Mage and Royal Archer.
Improved danger indicator icons.
Optimized visual effects for double/triple casting.
Improved description text for the Human racial skill "Avalanche."
