This Week’s Development Progress

  • Added new character unlock rules and new characters, batch updated and optimized equipment and new affixes; launched Steam achievement system. Fixed multiple bugs and improved visual and control experience.

Content Expansion & Adjustments

New Character Unlock System

  • Except for initial characters, other characters can only be used at the start of future runs after being unlocked in battle and reaching max level.

  • Unlock Dwarf at Round 20.

  • Unlock Elf at Round 30.

New Shop Character

  • Added new shop character: Repair Master

  • Repair Master: Dwarf Knight; scales through equipment quality, featuring physical DPS, tank + true damage, and large-scale resistance reduction paths. It has a unique equipment quality upgrade system. It can either provide strong team-wide buffs at battle start or choose a global continuous buff route, making it a versatile core unit combining damage, durability, and team support.

New Equipment

  • Sword of Judgment: Knight weapon; deals true damage based on target stacks (Human “Dough” stacks / Dwarf “Beer” stacks / Elf evasion points).

  • Short Sword & Buckler: Knight weapon; -20 base attack, +30 parry chance, +1 base guard range.

  • Battering Hammer: Knight weapon; ignores armor, damage equals 10 + target parry chance.

  • Magic Gloves: Armguard; -50% cast time but removes 10 extra dual-cast points.

  • Extendable Sleeve: Armguard; +1 multi-hit count.

  • Mechanical Armguard: Armguard; +2 multi-hit count, but +10% cast time, -5 evasion, -5 dual-cast.

  • Reinforced Armguard: Armguard; every 8th non-strong attack becomes a strong attack, dealing +0.2 AD physical damage and +0.2 AP magical damage.

  • Arrow Arm Device: Armguard; strong attacks ignore 20 enemy dual defense.

  • Holy Scepter: Priest weapon; +40% skill damage against undead units.

Equipment Adjustments

  • Mage weapons Chain Staff and Fire of Joy are now red rarity and only drop from S-tier loot.

  • Chain Staff: skill damage now includes one instance of basic attack physical damage.

  • Fire of Joy: damaging skills increase target temperature by 30.

  • Thorn Staff: 30% chance for skill damage to apply Thorn (reflects one stack of self-physical damage equal to attacker’s ATK when attacking).

  • Nature Staff: 10% chance on cast to heal the lowest HP ally for 1 AP.

  • Furnace Blessing renamed to Iron Heavy Shield: -0.2 base movement speed at battle start, +20% shield block chance.

New Affixes & Adjustments

Helmet Affix Pool

  • Buffer CushionWhile shielded, damage taken from skills and attacks is reduced by 20.
  • Forced Awakening: When HP first drops below 50%, removes 5 debuffs.

  • Duel Vision: Targeted enemy deals 20 less damage to you.

  • Periscope: +0.5 attack range, -0.1 attack speed.

  • Memory Palace: Each time a different skill is cast in a battle, subsequent skills gain +5 AP.

Weapon Affix Pool

  • Abstinence Doctrine (Priest): Attacks destroy 1 Beer stack on target.

  • Holy Retribution (Priest): Strong attacks deal +0.8 AP magic damage.

  • Divine Overflow: 20% chance to additionally heal the lowest HP unit.

  • Power of Long Spear (Spear unit): Attack range becomes base attack range.

  • Piercing Thunder Strike (Spear unit): The 13th attack becomes a strong attack and deals true damage equal to 1× enemy magic resistance.

  • Banner Tactics (Spear unit): After throwing the flag, gain 10 evasion for the next incoming damage instance.

  • Steppe’s Sorrow: After throwing the flag, negate the next damage instance if it comes from nomadic factions.

New Achievement System

  • Steam achievements are now live. Players can unlock achievements through battles. More achievements will be added in future updates.

Bug Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where boss pre-fight rounds were incorrectly increased.

  • Fixed character/effect misalignment issues.

  • Fixed cases where damage could become negative.

  • Fixed an issue where unlocked characters still had access to their unlock dungeons.

Game Optimization

  • Improved tag display sizing in equipment affix UI.

  • Updated attack skill effects for several characters.

  • Improved codex filtering rules.

  • Optimized some equipment icons.
