Devil of the Plague changes
We have released a minor hotfix update for Devil of the Plague.
This update focuses on fixing reported issues, improving item visibility and spawn behavior, optimizing DLSS functionality, and making several quality-of-life improvements based on player feedback.
Thank you to everyone who has been playing, reporting bugs, and sharing feedback with us. As a small indie team, your support helps us improve the game with every update.
Bug Fixes
Fixed key locations in the Dungeon map where keys were clipping into walls or were difficult to pick up. - Fixed an issue where Bosses continued to attack and kill the player while in ghost form, causing various complications. - Fixed an issue in the Egypt map where the hologram continued to appear on the scale even when the player was holding a purified heart. - Fixed an issue, particularly in the Dungeon map, where items were sinking too far into the ground, making interaction difficult. - Fixed a bug where players returning from purgatory could no longer hear rain sounds. - Fixed a bug in the singleplayer menu where map and difficulty visuals were defaulting to Castle and Normal. - Fixed a sound issue with heart-dropping zombies.
Optimization
Applied necessary fixes for DLSS optimization; DLSS now operates more effectively. - Minor environmental optimizations have been made.
Localization
Dungeon Room Key has been added to localization. - Cave Key has been added to localization.
Improvements
Improved spawn counts and spawn points across maps. - Increased the number of ground-lootable potion items on all maps. - Made visual adjustments to item spawn locations. - Victory and defeat screen music volume has been moved to the Settings → Music channel. - Updated the purified heart UI in the Egypt map, as hearts were not clearly distinguishable on the HUD. - Added lighting to the player's starting area in the Dungeon map, as it was too dark and made it unclear that the game had started.
