Deepspace Emporium changes
New Content Related to Water:
Water Merchant Start – Now unlocked! Players starting as a Water Merchant will begin with everything needed to jump straight in.
New Water Testing Device – Functions like the water testing strip but has unlimited uses and displays the exact composition of the water’s contaminants.
Water Purifier – A new machine that work overnight and can reliably purify water. By default, it can only purify water up to High Quality. Using modules, it can be upgraded to produce Pure Water (+100% Quality is required to achieve Pure Water).
Crime Increase for Selling Mislabeled Water – Selling large quantities of mislabeled water will increase your crime level over time, even if you weren’t exposed when selling.
Expanded Water Trading Guide – The Water Trading Guide now includes more pages.
New Water Trading Customers – new customers related to trading water has been added.
Reworked Existing Water Buyers and Sellers – Improved the behavior and interactions with existing water customers.
New Drain in the Shop – Allows you to dump unwanted water while keeping the bottle.
New Bottle Printer – Dispenses empty small water bottles in exchange for energy.
New Content:
Storage Bay – Dr. Jackson now sells a Storage Bay (10x10 space), allowing the player to store additional items. It can store everything except other containers.
New Unique Customer – A new unique customer has been added with their own storyline.
Changes:
Reduced Price of High Quality and Pure Water – Prices have been adjusted to balance the game.
Odin’s Expanded Buying List – Odin will now buy all types of supply crates, including those from the evidence locker.
Odin's Budget Increase – Every item sold to Odin will permanently increase his future budget at a conversion rate of 15%, up to a maximum of 1,500 credits.
"Skip Dialogue" Improvement – Pressing the spacebar will now skip the wait time between lines, allowing players to speed through dialogue more quickly.
Balanced Pricing for Water Testing Strip and Tablet
Quick Transfer to Garbage Bin – Players can now use Alt-Click to quickly transfer items to the garbage bin.
Improved Debug Panel UX – Enhanced the Debug Panel (F9) for better usability.
Cleaned Up Debug Spawner – Removed unused items from the debug spawner.
Dynamic Wanted Customer Spawning – Certain wanted customers will now spawn dynamically based on game state.
Metal Ingot Labeling Restriction – Metal Ingot labels can no longer be edited (temporary, until related customer are reworked).
Event Cooldowns – Events now have a cooldown period after ending.
Rent Indicator Improvement – The rent indicator will now include unpaid rent from the previous week if the rent grace period was activated.
Bug Fixes:
Fixed a bug that prevented players from selling certain items at a loss.
Fixed a game-breaking bug where selecting or dragging an item during confiscation would bug the game until restart.
Fixed a bug that prevented the "Dialogue Speed" slider from working properly.
Fixed a bug that kept perk tooltips open when the reputation UI was closed using the ESC key.
Fixed an issue where supply crates could store other containers.
Fixed a bug that prevented the commissary from losing stock during shortages.
Fixed pricing errors when selling items within containers during an active event.
