Hello Zombie Hunters,

addedI am working very hard on debugging and polishing and didn't find time yet to add everything to the screenshots or trailer video, so I am writing about some upcoming features that you'll see with Demo or full release.
changedWeather SystemThere is now a dynamic weather system in the game in maps that make sense to have one. So get ready to face different condition and adjust the gameplay accordingly while playing. There might be storm or heavy fog coming that limits vision, or thunderstorm which damage you or your enemies if hits too close... Honestly I enjoyed testing it with this feature, so I'm sure you do too.
addedDay and NightThe time of day now dynamically changes, so you enjoy the maps in compelete daylight and the terror of darkness all together. This brings new level of immersion to the game and make the game have it's crazy moments. The day and night is adjusted based on the maps and game design but feel free to give feedbacks (in discord) if you do not like too much darkness, to the sun.
changedOther Quality of LifeOther than what I mentioned, there are a lot of thing changed such as:
changedOther Quality of LifeMelee System: Characters are able to do melee damage as a last resort in case something went terribly wrong (such as not having ammo, or getting stuck in middle of zombies). Melee is designed very effective and quick, but it's always risky.
changedOther Quality of LifeBalancing and performance improvements: I want to have as many truly intelligent zombies as possible in the game but that comes with performance costs. So I have worked a lot to increase the intensity of the fight, while keeping the game that still runs at highest number of zombies in a rather medium-high end PC.

Weather System

There is now a dynamic weather system in the game in maps that make sense to have one. So get ready to face different condition and adjust the gameplay accordingly while playing. There might be storm or heavy fog coming that limits vision, or thunderstorm which damage you or your enemies if hits too close... Honestly I enjoyed testing it with this feature, so I'm sure you do too.

Day and Night

The time of day now dynamically changes, so you enjoy the maps in compelete daylight and the terror of darkness all together. This brings new level of immersion to the game and make the game have it's crazy moments. The day and night is adjusted based on the maps and game design but feel free to give feedbacks (in discord) if you do not like too much darkness, to the sun.

Other Quality of Life

Other than what I mentioned, there are a lot of thing changed such as:

  • Running System: You will be able to run for short bursts to get away from zombies or change positions

  • Melee System: Characters are able to do melee damage as a last resort in case something went terribly wrong (such as not having ammo, or getting stuck in middle of zombies). Melee is designed very effective and quick, but it's always risky.

  • Balancing and performance improvements: I want to have as many truly intelligent zombies as possible in the game but that comes with performance costs. So I have worked a lot to increase the intensity of the fight, while keeping the game that still runs at highest number of zombies in a rather medium-high end PC.

See you Later
