Cup and Counter: Coffee Shop Simulator changes
The two major changes in this update are the introduction of control over employee priorities and new logic for the customer flow.
You can now control both the baristas' and the waiters' priority list. This enables you to prioritize one task over another or disable certain tasks completely. This should be more controllable than the existing system.
We have replaced the original customer flow logic entirely. This new system should make the flow of customers feel a bit more reasonable, while also being somewhat configurable. You can now choose between Relaxed, Normal, Busy, and Bustling for your Customer flow. This is all configurable before a game day starts from within the settings page.
[FEATURE] Re-implemented the way roles work so you now have control over the priority of what they do; you should also have more fine-grained control over their tasks.
[REWRITE] Overhauled the original customer promotion logic. This system should provide customers more consistently and not be as punishing. Please note that we need feedback on what feels right and what doesn't with this.
[FEATURE] You can now choose between Relaxed, Normal, Busy, and Bustling for your Customer flow.
[FIX] Fixed some items such as the garbage can, knock box, etc missing an audio group so they wouldn't mute even if you turned your sound all the way down.
[FIX] Improved the NPC walking and movement behavior so it is more robust and tries not to be cheap or get stuck in weird loops
[FIX] Fixed a regression in the placement system that allowed you to place furniture through walls.
[FIX] Alarm clock will now remember its state.
[FIX] Corrected an issue with the employee assignment system where it wouldn't correctly reload the assignments
[FIX] Added safeguards to reduce the ability of the player being able to drop items through walls
[FIX] Fixed employee assignments being lost on save if you happened to load your game, returned to the menu, loaded the game, and then completed a day
[FIX] Improved the automatic employee/cat door closing behavior so it will take longer before it's automatically shut.
[FIX] Fixed an Issue that could cause small items to appear large in their placement preview.
[FIX] Fixed an issue where the small takeaway cup refill visuals wouldn't match how many cups remain in the stack
[FIX] Employees on the checkout should actually decide to move on to tasks more often
[FIX] Employees will now fall back to using refill packs if you do not have any holders available.
