Cup and Counter: Coffee Shop Simulator changes
With this update, we are continuing to try to improve the tray, staff, and general stability of the game. We are continuing to gather feedback from everyone and will have at least another update in the next 24 hours.
Fixed the bookshop from remaining locked up even though the employees are there.
Fixed an issue where there was a duplicated copy of the bookshop
Trays now replicate the same placement logic as boxes. You can now toggle between placing an item or placing the tray. This enables you to better get an idea of where the tray will be placed, as well as rotate its positioning.
Improved the functionality of trays so it will now show information about the item you are placing down. For example, drinks will now show the drink inspectable UI.
Improved the handoff when food and drinks are placed down on the pass
If the milk jug is empty (0ml) then we should consider it to be available for different types of milk
Fixed an issue with our Steam Cloud integration that could cause it to immediately overwrite your local save when it shouldn't be.
Reworked the employee cleaning and returning to stack logic. Should see employees more consistently clean and return to stacks.
Added protections to stop employees stealing player-plated food unless it has been put on the serving counter
Improved the milk jug UI to be a bit clearer
Improved the cup interface to make recipes a bit easier to read. May still need more work.
Try to prevent the issue where a customer can stand mindlessly at the checkout before you can take their order.
Stopped waiters from being able to take food from the cabinets themselves. This is now a responsibility of the barista staff and you as a player.
You can now bulk unload items from a tray by holding.
Begin work on improving tutorial behavior; they should now trigger more consistently.
Customers will no longer ignore you and will talk with you while they sit at their tables.
