[Devlog] May 2026 - Week 1

This is the 73rd week devlog for Cosmic Construct, and boy is it late. I'm going to shrink up the timeline of devlog post to get it back on track. Basically ever 3 or 4 days until the end of the month.

fixedI've had some issues with my computer this week caused by a whole host of problems resulting in an ISR storm that was making it freeze. After a significant amount of troubleshooting, I found the root cause to be poor CPU mounting pressure, and that now appears to be fixed. I replaced my SATA cables, disassembled most of the PC, checked RAM, disconnected my RGB controller, unplugged fans from my motherboard. It was a real pain.

This is the 73rd week devlog for Cosmic Construct, and boy is it late. I'm going to shrink up the timeline of devlog post to get it back on track. Basically ever 3 or 4 days until the end of the month. Hopefully that will give me some semblance that I'm still working on this thing. I know I've not had any game updates for a while, but they will be coming as I finish up work on other projects.

Side Projects

I've been spreading my stories to quite a few other platforms just for saturation. Currently getting it uploaded to Spacebattles, which I've never used before. It's been an interesting process.

I made an AI generated video compilation trying to show some visualization stuff about the magic system of Keygemin, that is difficult to convey by words alone. My favorite of which is this, which is almost exactly how I imagine the setting process. I've tried to explain this many times to people, buy apparently I'm bad at it. So this visual really helps.

Still working on the Pawn AI. It's a complex set of systems, it really is a development bottleneck. Because of how integrated it is, the game can't run until its stable.
