Chronos Trap in Time changes
A Heartfelt Thank You to Our Community
Before we dive into the technical goodies, we wanted to take a moment to say thank you. The support, feedback, and passion we’ve seen from you recently has been nothing short of incredible. Every review, bug report, and kind word motivates us to keep pushing Chronos Trap in Time to be the best experience it can be. We truly couldn’t do this without you.
We’ve been working hard behind the scenes to modernize the engine, and today we’re thrilled to roll out two massive technical upgrades:
Upgraded to DirectX 12 We have officially moved the game’s backbone from DX11 to DirectX 12.
What this means for you: Improved CPU efficiency, better multi-threading, and a more stable foundation for future graphical features. Many players should see a smoother overall experience, especially in hardware-heavy areas.
Intel® XeSS 3 Support (Upscaling) We are proud to integrate Intel XeSS 3, bringing AI-powered upscaling by Intel to Chronos Trap in Time.
Boost Your FPS: Even if you aren't on the latest hardware, XeSS 3 uses AI to deliver high-quality visuals at a fraction of the performance cost.
Note: XeSS works on most modern GPUs (Intel, NVIDIA, and AMD!), so check your Rendering Settings to toggle it on!
Thank you for being part of this journey. We hope these performance boosts make your time in Chronos Trap in Time even better!
