changedThis is possibly the last update of the year. It includes a handful of bug fixes I encountered during recent playthroughs, as well as the integration of a Discord bot that logs gameplay events to a dedicated channel. This helps me better understand player progression and balance, and also works as a sort of meta narrator for your adventure. Of course, participation is completely optional — you can opt out by declining data collection when starting the game.

Hello everyone :)

This is possibly the last update of the year. It includes a handful of bug fixes I encountered during recent playthroughs, as well as the integration of a Discord bot that logs gameplay events to a dedicated channel. This helps me better understand player progression and balance, and also works as a sort of meta narrator for your adventure. ✨ Improvements

  • Existing loading screens were refined and adjusted for better presentation.

🆕 Additions

  • A Discord bot has been introduced to log anonymous gameplay events and help me better understand player progression and balance.

  • A clear consent notice is now shown when the game starts.

  • Data collection is fully optional and can be enabled or disabled at any time from the title screen.

  • No personal information is collected.

🐞 Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where buying items from NPCs could stop working after selling an item, causing a null reference error.

  • Fixed a bug that allowed items to be sold indefinitely to NPCs without being removed from the player inventory.

  • Fixed an issue in Whispering Vale where both bonfires were using the same respawn point.

  • Fixed a bug where confronting the Whispering Vale area boss would prematurely complete the related quest and achievement at the start of the fight instead of the end.

  • Fixed an issue where loading an incompatible save file could prevent the title screen from appearing, forcing the game to be closed manually.

Thank you for playing, reporting issues, and supporting the project 🙂 Your feedback continues to shape the game’s future.

Have a great end of the year, and hopefully development will continue strongly throughout 2026!
