addedHello everyone! 🙂The Whispering Vale is a new story expansion that becomes available after defeating Maerimond . In this chapter, you will travel into the future to stop Maerimond’s stone curse before it destroys the ancient trees of the Whispering Vale’s dormant temple.

Improvements

  • Optimized day/night lighting logic. Lighting now updates only when the in-game hour changes instead of every frame, greatly improving performance.

  • Camera collisions are now instant rather than damped. This behavior is similar to Dark Souls and improves visibility when the camera collides with objects.

  • Reduced the transition time back to the player camera from 2 seconds to 0.5 seconds to prevent jittering and camera conflicts when control is restored.

Additions

  • Added a new area in Maerimond Cavern near the boss room that grants access to expansion content for Whispering Vale. This room will also be used for future expansions continuing the Maerimond storyline.

  • Added a new expansion: The Whispering Vale.

  • Added a new large explorable map: The Whispering Vale and the Forest Temple.

  • Added a new Great Hammer weapon.

  • Added the Petrification status effect.

  • Added a new boss fight with secret mechanics.

  • Added new enemy types:

    • Goblins

    • Large Wolf

    • Tiger

    • Large Snake

    • Hippogriff

    • Gravedigger

    • Crocodile

    • Snail

    • Rat

    • Three new Skeleton variants

  • Added a new dagger: Assassin’s Dagger.

  • Added new rings:

    • Ring of Green Leaves – Boosts stamina regeneration.

    • Serpentine Ring – Deals bonus damage to snake-type enemies.

    • Ring of Unrest – Increases resistance to Petrification.

    • Crow Ring – Increases jump attack damage by 1.3×.

  • Added the ability to close the Character Customization screen using the back button.

  • Added seasonal Christmas decorations throughout the world during December.

🐞 Fixes

  • Fixed an issue where AI would not take damage after dodging.

  • Fixed enemies sliding between idle, patrol, and chase states.

  • Fixed a bug where interrupted fire bomb throws caused enemies to keep holding the fire bomb visual.

  • Fixed light attacks consuming both unarmed and weapon stamina costs instead of only the weapon stamina cost.

  • Removed animation pausing on certain enemy attacks, which was causing multiple issues.

  • Fixed tree and dummy target enemies getting stuck in an idle state when attacked while stunned.

  • Fixed the Windstorm spell spawning with incorrect alignment relative to the caster.

  • Fixed tougher female skeleton sound effects and corrected their chase speed.

  • Fixed poison spit spell impact visuals incorrectly using fireball effects. Impacts are now green and deal additional poison damage on explosion.

  • Fixed body type not resetting to Body Type 1 when selecting Reset Settings in Character Customization.

  • Fixed sliders not updating correctly after resetting body type in Character Customization.

  • Fixed armor pieces (such as pauldrons) incorrectly displaying 0 status resistance tooltips.

  • Fixed Ronin Girl incorrectly dropping Captain Harold boss loot.

  • Fixed quest track/untrack logic not functioning correctly.
