The Star of Yesteryear burns bright! This patch comes with a new Aspect for the Star and some more rebalancing for the Execution and Ardor systems!
New Features
- CosmeticLightstarthrow the Star to stun an enemy for an indefinite amount of time (until they take damage) and briefly stun all its surrouding enemies!
Game Improvements
In the Art unlock area, players now must practice with their chosen Art before leaving that area for the first time;
Added more variation for enemies' wait time, making attacks less simultaneous between enemies of the same type;
Added a more noticeable reminder that the player has unspent Souls in the Fountain;
Added an explanation for the Lamplighter's effect on the Crossroads;
Balance Adjustments
Buffed the Execution heal at low Ardor levels, and nerfed that heal for high Ardor levels;
The exact values are (Ardor D -> 5; C -> 10; B -> 20; A -> 30; S -> 55);
Those values were (Ardor D -> 4; C -> 8; B -> 16; A -> 32; S -> 64);
Ardor degrades slightly faster at high Ardor levels;
Dan's commentary: we've noticed a problem of snowballing in our balance - experienced players are rewarded with a lot of healing, while struggling players have to avoid more damage. With this change, we hope to alleviate this problem a bit.
Extra bleeding caused due to Overextending a Region greatly increased;
Art Rewards now stop appearing during the third Act;
Fixes
Fixed being able to accumulate more than 3 Crosses;
Fixed a very niche bug with the Whims tab;
Fixed a niche error with the Ghostrunner Talent;
