These adjustments are aimed at making Acts 2 and 3 tougher to beat at the beginning of the game, while keeping the difficulty as-is for the game's initial Journeys.

New Features

Game Improvements

  • Slightly improved the Ephemeral Blade's primary attack's animation;

Balance Adjustments

  • The Player now must spend at least 6 seconds in Death's Door before recovering. For this duration, they remain invincible and cannot pickup Blood Orbs;

  • The Cryptbreaker's damage increased to 30 (was 25);

  • The Doll's damage increased to 25 (was 10);

  • The Doll's max Blood increased to 16 (was 10);

  • The Hyperoptic's damage increased to 40 (was 20);

  • All Shades' max Blood increased to 24 (was 14);

  • The Revolver Shade's damage increased to 12 (was 6);

  • The Dragon Shade's damage increased to 20 (was 10);

  • The Cannon Shade's damage increased to 25 (was 16);

  • The Umbra's Crossdash damage increased to 30 (was 25);

  • The Skullbearer's max Blood increased to 50 (was 40);

  • Odyle's Bite damage increased to 30 (was 15);

  • Odyle's Charge damage increased to 25 (was 20);

  • The Witch's Bomb damage increased to 12 (was 8);

  • The Bibliosoph's Magic Circle damage increased to 8 (was 5);

  • The Bibliosoph's Bookbird damage increased to 10 (was 5);

  • Cassius' Dash damage during his rematch increased to 45 (was 25);

  • Cassius' Bat damage during his rematch increased to 30 (was 15);

Fixes

  • Fixed Weaponmaster Talent not triggering when it should;

  • Fixed weird SFX effect when a Witchbomb explodes;

  • Fixed some dialog text that didn't appear properly (especially in Spanish and French);

  • Fixed Inventory text when no Blessings are yet activated;

  • Fixed accidentally entering an arena during the Shade ambush scene in Act 3;

  • Fixed rare crash when fighting the Guardiansoul;

  • Fixed locked Talents appearing in the Inventory Talent window;
