Version 1.0.5 is now live. This is mainly a combat balance pass - many enemies are tougher and hit harder, and several player cards have been retuned - along with a batch of fixes for enemy AI, rewards, and UI issues reported by players.
CHANGES
You can now pan and zoom the battle camera while the cursor is over your hand of cards.
Improved our battle diagnostics: every in-battle event is now tagged with a battle ID, so the logs attached to your bug reports are much easier for us to trace.
ENEMY BALANCE
Most enemies across the Desolation have been toughened up, and several of their attacks now deal more damage. Changes are grouped by enemy below.
- Ancient Monk - Withered PalmProfane and Holy damage each increased from 4 to 8.
- Assassin - Cut and Fadedamage increased from 7 to 12.
- Chainbound Skirmisher - Shackle Strikedamage increased from 10 to 15 (vs targets with Block) and from 7 to 8 (vs targets without Block).
Choir of Refusal - Max HP increased from 28 to 40.
- Corpse Carrier - Cart Shovedamage increased from 4 to 12.
Earthbinder - Max HP increased from 42 to 45.
Eye Gouger - Max HP increased from 18 to 25.
- Haunter - Panic Scratchdamage increased from 5 to 12.
Leper Supplicant - Max HP increased from 22 to 30.
- Lich - Max HP increased from 25 to 70; Max Block increased from 15 to 20; Necrotic Boltdamage increased from 11 to 15.
Lunira - Max HP increased from 140 to 180.
Mire Confessor - Max HP increased from 30 to 40; now carries a Dagger attack and a more aggressive strategy, giving it a reliable way to deal damage.
- Monolith of Offering - Necrotic Boltdamage increased from 11 to 15.
Null Saint - Max HP reduced from 60 to 50.
- Pestilent Slinger - Max HP increased from 24 to 30; Boil Slingdamage increased from 5 to 7, and its chance to apply Decay increased from 25% to 30%.
- Sanguine Wretch - Max HP increased from 40 to 50; Bloodletting Bitedamage increased from 8 to 12.
Skeleton Guard - Max Block reduced from 50 to 40.
- Skinstealer - Max HP increased from 26 to 55; Wolf Bitedamage increased from 5 to 13.
- Skinstealer Alpha - Max HP increased from 38 to 70; Bear Mauldamage increased from 8 to 22.
- Skinstealer Stalker - Max HP increased from 22 to 40; Barbed Spearrange increased from 6 to 10, damage increased from 4 to 8.
Temple Guard - Max HP increased from 45 to 50.
Temple Guard Commander - Max HP increased from 55 to 80; Max Block increased from 25 to 30.
The Last Wanderer - Max HP increased from 110 to 180.
- Vein-Scribe - Max HP increased from 30 to 50; Ink Cutdamage increased from 8 to 12 (vs targets with Block) and from 5 to 6 (vs targets without Block).
Wellspawn - Max HP increased from 75 to 90.
CARD BALANCE
Burning Grip - Burn applied increased from 1 to 3.
Celestial Bells - now applies 2 Vulnerable instead of 2 Stagger.
Cleansing Fire - Holy damage reduced from 12 to 8.
Combustion - is now Exhausted after it is played.
Gospodar's Gaze - AP cost increased from 1 to 2.
Guarded Strike - Block gained increased from 3 to 5.
Hex - now also applies 1 Decay.
Scorched Earth - Burn applied increased from 2 to 4.
Sweep - Burn applied reduced from 10 to 6.
Unholy Strike - gained a new Weave effect: apply 1 Decay.
FIXES
Fixed an issue where the Mire Confessor would sometimes walk up to you and end its turn without doing anything. It now always follows through on its debuff: it weakens your guard (Broken Guard) when you have no Block, or makes you Vulnerable when you do.
The Null Saint now rotates through debuff, buff, and direct attacks (and defends when wounded) instead of passively buffing forever. It will actually fight back now.
Fixed the VFX and SFX for the Bless the Knife skill (Mire Confessor) so it reads as a buff instead of an attack.
The Ancient Monk's Catacomb Aura now activates at the start of the Ancient Monk's first turn instead of at the start of the battle.
Corrected boss encounters that could spawn the wrong boss roster on some Desolation tiers.
Fixed the Moonlight Veil item granting +0 Drawn Cards instead of +1.
The Abandoned Watchtower random encounter now always grants a random item on a successful outcome, exactly as one of its options describes.
Fixed a brief burst of jittery camera movement that could occur right after the player or an enemy moved.
The bug report popup now accepts the Space key while typing in the text field, and opens instantly while logs are gathered in the background (with a clear "gathering logs" status line) instead of stuttering.
Fixed the Choose Desolation screen not defaulting to the right region: it now selects the tier you last departed from (or your highest unlocked) and scrolls straight to it.
Fixed story progression and Choose Desolation quest markers not lining up with the correct Desolation tier order, so your next objective points to the right region.
Fixed a potential crash when closing certain dialogues.
Fixed some translation issues.
