Gameplay Changes
In Torvannah, Serenis and Ichor Asteroid the trains will now detach all following carriages when they start the boss phase of the mission.
In the Ichor Asteroid the train has been increased in length from 60 to 72 carriages. This brings it into parity with the trains in Torvannah and Serenis, which were both already 72 carriages long.
In Serenis the boss phase of the train now starts 1.5 kilometres further down the track.
All train carriages' Hit Points increased from 1500 to 2500.
Train Car bases score award decreased from 30 to 15 points.
Train turret car bodies Hit Points decreased from 5000 to 4000.
Train Boulder Hoppers score award decreased from 20 to 15 points.
Train Crystal Hoppers score award decreased from 30 to 20 points.
Performance Improvements
All player laser fire and enemy laser fire no longer cast shadows.
Bug Fixes
In the Torvannah desert several of the surrounding rock cliffs have had minor placement adjustments to close up unintended gaps between them and the sand.
In Tovannah a series of rock pillars that encroach on the player's flight path now act as obstructions that will damage the Star-Fighter.
In Torvannah a rock pillar with a turret on top has been lowered as the player's Star-Fighter could clip through large parts of it.
Background Systems Changes
In Torvannah, Serenis and Ichor Asteroid the trains now all have a dynamic speed control system that compares the trains current position with the player's progress moving through the level. Even if the player is boosting or braking excessively throughout the entirety of the mission the head of the train will arrive at the correct position at the same time as the player in order to start the boss battle phase.
When any train boss enters the infinitely repeating straight section of the level they will now attach to the player in the same manner as the Cruiser and Tank bosses do.
Obstruction blueprints now have material override slots.
Debugging systems now added to all missions.
Steam Page Changes
The Alastrius Demo has been updated from version 0.8.7 to 1.0.12. The demo still only includes the Training Simulator and the opening campaign mission on Cendoria however that content now includes all the changes from post launch updates to date.
