Ad Iterum changes
This last week I've been working through feedback received from players recorded sessions. Mostly around making the game feel smoother when ranged combat, and fixing some bugs here and there when using an Xbox controller.
What's next?
In the next cycle (alpha 4) I'll be addressing feedback coming from this playtest, as well as adding more content, and improving the core experience when you decide to go deep into the dungeon.
Current difficulty is capped to 5 levels deep, which is quite limited, but I wanted to be careful to not play only with "stats go up", instead you'll find more enemy types, with more dangerous combinations, and more complex level mechanics... as well as better rewards!
Join the private playtest!
If you haven't tried the game yet, I'm currently running a private playtest up to 100 players. You can request access through Discord. Feedback and bug reports are always welcome!
Changes:
Alpha 3: - Fix: Memories tab items are clickable now - Fix: Button west fixed for Xbox controller - Fix: Adjusted mutations display to not overlap with ammo display - Improvement: You're no longer locked in place in ranged mode, and can freely move when equipping a ranged weapon - Improvement: Several UI improvements to mouse hover - Improvement: Several item descriptions
