Stillreach: Proof of Life

This month we’re finally turning the camera toward Stillreach - the first town you can safely reach from the Port Town, and your gateway to the Star Ruins.

Stillreach isn’t about showing off combat systems or mechanics. It’s about something quieter and harder to fake.

Proof of life.

This is where the world stops feeling like a collection of features and starts feeling like a place that exists on its own terms.

The main image this month is the front of Lucette’s.

From this vantage point, the world quietly reveals itself:

• Animals that wouldn’t normally coexist are calmly sharing space

  • a panda and a monkey just hanging out

  • shoebills standing comfortably beside cats

• Humans, animals, and machines all occupying the same moment

This is balance.

In the background, reflected in the water:

• DJ V’s sign, glowing softly

• The Ferris wheel of the Star Ruins, distant but ever-present

You can see where you’re headed, even while you’re still grounded here.

That reflection is a reminder that the Star Ruins are there, watching back.
