Hi Gravediggers! 🧟♂️🎄
We’re wrapping up the year with a special New Year Update! Some of the features you’ll see in this update were originally planned for Version 2.0, but as a small New Year gift, we wanted to bring a portion of them forward so you can enjoy them earlier.
And one more thing before we dive in: Zombie Graveyard Simulator is currently 31% OFF during the Steam Winter Sale! ❄️🔥
Here’s what’s new:
🎄 Christmas & New Year Decorations

The graveyard is ready to celebrate the holidays!
The entire graveyard is now decorated with Christmas themed visuals
Festive lights, decorations, and even a ginger cookie house can be found around the map
A cozy seasonal atmosphere to enjoy while managing your graveyard
⚙️ Optimization Preview
We’re actively working on a large-scale optimization update planned for Version 2.0.
While full details will be shared in the next update notes, you can already expect improvements in this update such as:
More stable frame times
Reduced performance spikes
Noticeable FPS improvements
Additional graphics settings
🔨 Multi Crafting & Storage/Inventory UI Rework

You can now craft multiple items at the same time on Stone Workshop and the Research Lab
Improved layout and scaling for resolutions other than 16:9 (such as 16:10 an widescreens)
General usability and control improvements
🔧 Bug Fixes & Improvements
Antique items can now be delivered to families instead of only being sold via the Auction App
Backpack capacity increased
Added rotating function to Stone Wall Corner, allowing more modular wall construction
Added an additional category filter for Auction items
Updated ammo consumption for Tesla and Flamethrower Turrets
These turrets now consume significantly less ammunition
Example: previously 1 propane tank per shot, now 1 propane tank per 4 shots
DLSS and FSR have been temporarily disabled, but don't worry they will return with Version 2.0
Multiple CPU and GPU optimizations have been applied
Fixed an issue where auto-fire weapons could jam while firing
Fixed an issue where footstep sounds did not properly switch between grass, stone, and other terrain types
