GAMEPLAY

  • Various movement camera (Automatic Mode) Improvements (more to be discussed in upcoming changes)

  • Adjustments to camera (Automatic Mode) functionality while wall running

  • Air dashing now cancels out all current momentum and will instantly convert it to your desired direction

  • Player air control increased

  • Jumping off rail grinds will cancel *most* momentum and take you in the direction you want to go

  • Rail grind speed slightly increased (more to be discussed in upcoming changes)

  • Fix to combo count not decreasing in certain circumstances

AUDIO

  • Main Menu music loop corrected

  • Tanaka now vocally calls out each stance he switches into

  • Alongside the callouts, backing audio reflecting the animal can also be heard in each stance switch

  • Rhino stance now has separate combat effort voice acting

  • Lowered Combo Counter SFX

  • New Hit Confirm SFX

ENEMY

  • Enemies have larger health pools on all difficulties

  • Fix to enemy models rotating quickly in certain circumstances

VISUALS

  • Bloom reduced

  • Motion Blur reduced

  • Sprint Speed visually increased

OPTIMIZATION

  • Intro sequence refusing to play smoothly fixed

  • Anti-aliasing method changed

  • Various optimization and framerate improvements

MISC

  • Watermark changed to better reflect the current scope of the build

  • Minor fix to mission not progressing in certain circumstances

  • Change to tutorial messages displayed during New Game

KNOWN BUGS & UPCOMING CHANGES

  • Various animation desyncing issues

  • Speedlines re-enabled whilst sprinting, gliding, grappling etc.

  • Additional Camera System rework

  • Additional Rail Grind System rework

  • More "linear" tutorial mission

  • Increased Enemy Reactivity (More enemy types are planned for the full game which better reflect stance change needs)

  • Easy Swing Grapple Mode

  • UI Overhaul (much is currently placeholder)

  • Audio continued Overhaul

  • Various clipping issues

  • Further Optimization Works

  • Map Improvements (However this map does not reflect the maps of the full game, it is purely a separate set piece for the Alpha's gameplay mechanic testing using various assets from our different levels of the game) ------ The feedback we receive is a huge part of shaping this game into what we know it can become. This Pre-Alpha is focused on showcasing the core gameplay, and getting early feedback on how it runs and whether people are having fun. We are hoping it shows the potential and secures the support we need to bring the full vision to life, including our full six chapter story. We are grateful for any and all your feedback.
