Repeated intro

Hey everyone! A few days ago, we launched our first alpha demo. It's been amazing to see people share their excitement and feedback. Whether you played for five minutes or five hours... THANK YOU. We’re a small indie team, powered by passion, late nights, and way too much coffee. We don’t have AAA resources... but indie development gives us something else. We get the freedom to make something personal, unlike what other big studios are making. This is the project we've dreamed about making for years. PATCH COMING THIS WEEK This demo is just the beginning. It’s a vertical slice — a snapshot of the gameplay and world we're working to create. Right now, we’re focused on compatibility and stability. We've seen reports of the intro bugging out and occasional stalling during gameplay or audio. We've already been working through the weekend, and you can expect a patch before the end of this week. WHY "ALPHA"? In dev terms, "alpha" is a major milestone. It means the game is playable but still early in production. Systems are in, but not yet polished or complete. Usually, alphas stay internal and tightly controlled. But more and more indies are going public earlier, to get feedback and see how things run across all kinds of hardware. It's already helped us push a few fixes, and make the game immediately better. FUTURE PATCHES After our patch later this week, we're planning another one before the month's end. We want to smooth out certain camera angles, especially in complex combat moments. It's also been interesting to see players with different skill levels. For every person making 50-hit combos, there's another person who is asking for more guidance. Some people need more of a tutorial. Some people really hate tutorials. (And some people are somehow both.) We’ve identified a few high-priority areas to polish the experience — things like camera behaviour, the user interface, and making the gameplay more clear overall. FOLLOW THE JOURNEY This project began four years ago. And we plan to be in it for a few more years still. Our goal is a full anime-inspired action adventure. And while we’ll eventually shift focus to the full game, parts of that polish will continue making their way into the demo in the coming weeks. If you care about indie games, we're inviting you to be part of the process and the conversation. The best place to do that is at our Discord [https://discord.gg/yWaJAv549M]. And if you liked the demo, sharing your excitement helps us more than you know.
