As the second half of the year kicks off, we'll be gradually sharing PvE development progress with you, and we'll open testing once the mode is closer to completion.

For this first share, we want to give you a look at what PvE roughly looks like —

(Before this, we actually scrapped an earlier version of PvE and rebuilt it from scratch.)

Please note: The current version is still in early development. All UI, scenes, and mechanics may change.

Map

PvE mode uses a turn-based map exploration system. The map will feature various loot spots and events, as well as monsters lurking and waiting for you.

Every step you take, every decision you make, consumes your turn count.

You can accept quests, scavenge across the map, obtain rare items — and then, figure out how to get out.

Extraction: Bring Your Loot Home

As a core part of the PvE gameplay loop, everything you collect on the map — equipment, materials, loot — picking it up isn't enough. You have to get it out.

The more you carry, the more valuable — and the more risk you face. Push your luck or call it early? Every extraction is a gamble.

New Enchantment System

PvE will include several meta-progression elements outside of runs, such as the new enchantment system — items in PvE will have dedicated enchantment slots. Spend materials to unlock enchantment effects. Beyond making your character stronger, stacking enchantments might just build playstyles you never expected...

Over the coming period, we'll keep sharing more about the 2.0 update. Stay tuned for further details~
